Although change is a part of any ministry, Emmaus Road s mission and ministry will always be to strive to serve the Lord with integrity in every aspect of their lives. So when you see them in concert, at a revival, or at their home church, you can be assured, that they will be the same on or off the stage. God has chosen to use Emmaus Road for such a time as this and continues to work through its members to edify His Body. Emmaus Road is not about its members; it is about serving Him!

Greg Witt Tenor Vocalist - Manager Individual Biography s I was born and raised in a little town called Tunnel Hil, GA and that is where I reside today with my beautiful wife of 22 years, Mira. We have 2 Children and they are growing up way too fast. My daughter Kristen is 20 years old and is busy with college and work. My son is 16 years old and is very active on the Marching band at Northwest High School. I've been singing since I was 7 years old and I can't imagine nothing I'd rather do with my life than sing for Christ. I am the youngest of four children. My Dad is the Late Rev. George Witt, who went home on Oct. 22, He was a Pastor and Preached in the North Ga Area for 45 years. My mom, Betty Witt, is currently living with my family since the passing of my Father. My family and I attend City View Church Of God in Dalton, GA. Southern Gospel has been a major influence in my life even singing with my family. I had no idea what part I was singing, but I knew that I was enjoying every minute of it. During my teenage years, I played and sang with many Southern Gospel. Several years ago, the Lord led me to start Emmaus Road Quartet as the tenor singer. Now I am only original member and the manager of the group. Even though, I was singing in groups before the age of 18, it was at Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church, when I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. During that same year, I strayed from God and he brought me back with a great testimony. I was involved in an accident where the vehicle flipped three times, threw me out and landed on top of me. It was then that I dedicated my life to serving Him through song. Now there is nothing I would rather do then sing for my Lord Jesus Christ. I welcome the opportunity to spread the word of God by song, and to share my testimony with anyone... anywhere... anytime! Chris Walton Lead Vocalist I was born on September 22, 1983 a Pastors Kid, so naturally I grew up in Church. My father sang professionally before I was born and he and my Mom had a group when I was a young child. All I have ever known is Church and Southern Gospel Music. I accepted Jesus as Savior in Early June of In June of 1999, Me, my Parents, and my Aunt began singing as The Waltons. I started out singing Lead and ended up on the Bass line. During my 8 years with this group I sang Bass, Baritone, Lead, and Tenor. Never knew which part I was going to have to sing. In 2007 I started singing tenor with a semi-pro group out of Alexander City Alabama, The Next Chapter Quartet. During my 3 years with them, my eyes were opened to a whole new world. I got to meet a lot of my heroes and sing along side with a couple of them. On March 15, 2008 I married the love of my life, Christy. We lived only 10 minutes apart, but it took a mutual friend to introduce us in September of I m very proud of my wife and all of her accomplishments. She has a Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Montevallo, and her Doctorate in Pharmacology from Samford University. She has been a Pharmacist for Publix Pharmacy since her Graduation. On June 16, 2010 I did my first concert with the Legendary, and Hall of Fame Member, Gerald Williams & The Melody Boys Quartet. It was a dream 11 years in the making that finally came true. I was now traveling full time Coast to Coast. I was able to travel 3 years with The Melody Boys Quartet until Gerald retired after 63 years on the road. It was some of the best years of my life. I traveled with another semi-pro group in 2013 untill joining with Emmaus Road Quartet in January of On December 28, 2014, we were blessed with our daughter Khloe Lucille. After she was born I took a year off from the road. In 2016 I put my own group together, we traveled for a year, then God had other plans for me. Now, in January 2017, I'm back home with Emmaus Road. I'm very excited to see what God has in store for me and all the guys of erq.im just one blessed man. I have been blessed to sing on Main Stage at the National Quartet Convention, Main Stage at Singing in The Sun, The Gaither Homecoming Concert Tour, Grand Ole Gospel Reunion, Jubilee at Sea Cruise, Town Square in Nassau Bahamas, and many more. I thank God for every Blessing he has chosen to give me.

Brandon Barry Bass Vocalist I was raised on Southern Gospel music and new that was what I wanted to do with my life at an early age. I've had the privilege of singing all over the world with some of the best groups on the road today. I've even been able to sing back up for people like Loretta Lynn, Ronnie McDowell and even Ronnie Milsap! From the outside looking in you would have thought I had everything I ever wanted and needed...but something was missing. I realized for the first time in my life that I was lost and on my way to hell. No amount of songs, accolades or money was going to get me to heaven! On Feb 7th, 2016 I finally saw myself for who I really was and that I was in need of the Savior I had sung about all my life! I accepted Him as my personal Savior and He changed everything!! I am blessed with a beautiful wife, three amazing children, and a second chance! I'm thankful He gave me a brand new ending and the opportunity to sing for Him with some of the greatest guys in the world! Colby Goforth Baritone Vocalist / Piano I was born in Madisonville, Tn but Raised in Cleveland Tn. At the age of 3 I knew God had placed a calling on my life to sing for him. I was called to churches throughout East Tennessee and North Georgia to sing, But I had a big influence to do so by watching Kirk Talley. Being a soloist myself as I was watching him it helped me to form most of the way I do things now. Being a Kirk fan you can't leave out my favorite quartet the Cathedrals. That led to Listening to Gold City, the Kingsmen and so many More! When I was ten I got saved and started really becoming serious about my calling 3 years later a dream came true I joined my first Quartet! It was so much fun traveling for a year but with school I had to step down. Well, school couldn't hold me back from singing so I joined A group from Cleveland, Tn. 2x2 Quartet, who helped me set a path to meet Emmaus Road! I soon went to College at TWC in Athens, Tn and I also helped form a new group, Appointed Qt. I ran into Greg at a concert where Emmaus Road and The group I was with were singing at and he told me one day maybe I could play piano for ERQ. Well after many prayers and 2 years I asked Greg if they still were wanting a piano player, he said yes. I started traveling with ERQ in May of 2014, and a little over 7 months after I joined, I also began singing Baritone. I believe without a doubt God has placed me here to sing and play for Emmaus Road. ERQ puts ministry first, and the one thing that matters most. Seeing lost souls saved! I can't wait to see what God has in store for Me and Emmaus Road!

Emmaus Road Ministries Outreach Strategies On average, more than 36 million fans attend a Gospel concert each year. While we want this concert to provide your congregation with an uplifting and memorable experience, our heart and our calling is to reach the world. We need your help to fulfill that vision. If you follow these simple guidelines your church will be filled to capacity with visitors on the night of your concert any night of the week. Engage Your Church: encourage your congregation to participate in making this a successful outreach. Generate excitement by mentioning the concert in every service and requesting help in getting the word out. Foster a sense of anticipation. Copy the enclosed flyers extensively and early request participation to distribute them: To friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, doctors, hairdresser, mail carrier (anyone you and your congregation interact with), Or Do it the old fashioned way! Go door to door but please be safe and work in teams! Post flyers in local businesses - Check on them often to replenish Notify and invite other local churches (if on an off-night that will not conflict with their existing services or events). Ask that they mention the concert in their bulletins. Play music clips at the start and end of each service to allow your parishioners to hear the caliber of music they will be enjoying (call if you need a CD). Place an ad in your paper include a picture (camera-ready artwork picture file is attached). Any questions can be directed to me. I want to assist you in any way I can. Normally, you can double or triple your participation with an ad run two consecutive weeks (ensure a picture is included). Contact your Christian and Secular Radio station this can be a relatively inexpensive and effective publicity tool. We are happy to come to your church and minister without setting an honorarium or minimum fee. We strongly believe that people should never be charged to enter the house of the Lord; however, we need your help to make this event a success. It can only truly be successful if we pack the house! There are people who would not normally attend church but they will come to a concert because the message is shared in music that is popular and widely known. That provides us with an opportunity to witness through the music, and gives you an opportunity to create a relationship that could have far-reaching effects. With a little advance planning and a small investment for advertising we can make this an awesome event Please call on me as much as necessary. I m here to help you. Thanks again for this wonderful opportunity to partner in spreading the Gospel. Yours in Him, Greg Witt (706) gregwitt@emmausroadquartet.com

More Promotional Ideas: PROMOTIONAL IDEAS: * Invite other local churches (maybe via local Ministerial Alliance/Association). * Place posters up in key areas around the church and town. * Run the concert information for four consecutive weeks in the church bulletin prior to the concert date. * Every Sunday, announce the concert from the pulpit WITH enthusiasm. :) * Your district/association could send a blanket to all the other churches in your denomination announcing the concert details. * Local newspaper can run a press release in the weekly religious section. * Every church member to pass out at least 5 fliers to 5 non-church goers. Great exposure for your church. It doesn't take a lot of effort to get a good crowd out. We really appreciate it.
