2 Preface necrosis Chronic wounds represent a serious medical and social problem in today s society. Treatment is often made using obsolete methods. Since early 1960 more attention is given to healing wounds using the principle of wound therapy via a warm and humid wound environment. necrosis + fibrin coat This turned out to be the basis for "modern wound care" aiming at lowering treatment costs and optimizing the healing process by extending the dressing supportability in a humid and warm environment. fibrin coat This was the main motivation for ADL to create the new product line. These products will provide you with all the necessary tools to successfully implement the modern wound care. Graduated in wound phases respectively the wound status, the product line allows a proper combination to optimize the wound care to the patients needs. fibrin + Index hydro gel page 3 foams page 4 alginate page 6 hydrocolloid page 7 + e p i t h e l i z a t i o n Tips on using products page 8 wound hygiene set standard and mini page 10 2 e p i t h e l i z a t i o n ialuset +silver page 11 biopad page 12 pur film page 13 Product line overview page 14
