4 ABOUT THIS GUIDE The following underwriting guidelines aims to provide an overview of what the underwriting decision may be for different medical conditions. It is therefore a reference tool which will help you better prepare your clients, particularly when a rating may be applicable. It is understood that the probable decisions which are indicated in these guidelines are only preliminary estimates and do not bind SSQ Insurance in any way. If fact, all final decisions are based on a complete assessment of the file (in accordance to the underwriting s in effect).
