Majority of cases were less than 04 years of age.all 05 samples tested at SMS Jaipur were found to be positive for Measles IgM ELISA. RRT investigated the outbreak. House to house survey done. Medical camp organized in the area and all cases were treated symptomatically.one 65 year old female died due to the condition. Potable drinking water supplied in the affected area. Health Cases of loose stools were reported from South Mirzapur High School under Belonia Municipal Council, South Tripura. RRT investigated the outbreak. All the cases consumed food during mid-day meal in the school. All the cases were in years age group. All cases treated symptomatically. Health Cases reported from Sankhati & Nowpara, Atghoria Simlon & kankuria, kalna I, Burdwan. RRT investigated the outbreak. House to house survey done. Consumption of contaminated water could be the probable cause of the outbreak. 03 Rectal swab and 02 water samples collected and sent to DPHL Burdwan; all 03 rectal swab were found negative for any pathogen. Result of water samples is still awaited All cases treated symptomatically. All water sources chlorinated. Health education given. 1. RRT investigated the outbreak. Consumption of contaminated water could be the probable cause of the outbreak. Both the water samples sent to Public Health Lab, Tirupati were found to be non-potable. 04 rectal swabs collected and sent to Microbiology Lab SVRR Tirupati; result awaited. 03 food samples were sent IPM Hyderabad; result awaited. Medical camp organized in the area and all cases treated symptomatically. Overhead tank cleaned. Alternate source of drinking water provided. Health 4

RRT investigated the outbreak. House to house survey done. Majority of cases were more than 5 years old. A total of 08 serum samples taken and sent to RMRC Dibrugarh for laboratory confirmation of Measles out of which 6 samples have turned positive for Rubella and 2 are equivocal for measles. All cases treated symptomatically. Health education given regarding isolation of cases. Cases of loose stools and pain abdomen reported from Village Satahan Block Sangrah Sirmaur. Majority of cases were less than 11 years of age. 05 serum Samples sent to Medical College Bhopal, out of which 03 samples were found to be positive for measles IgM ELISA. All cases treated symptomatically and Vitamin A administered. Health Cases reported from Village Kamtana, Block Aamanganj Panna. RRT investigated the outbreak. House to house survey done. West Bengal Purulia xxvi /03/ /03/15 Fever with Rash /.3/15 Cases reported from Village Bhatwadi, SC Kalmmwadi, PHC Nerle, Block Walwa, Sangli. RRT investigated the outbreak. House to house survey done. Consumption of contaminated water could be the probable cause of the outbreak. A total of 04 stool samples taken and sent to Govt. Medical College Miraj; result awaited. All cases treated symptomatically. Alternate water supply was provided during the outbreak. Water sources cleaned and chlorinated. Health Cases of Fever with rash reported from Village Royarkottam HSC Chellamanthadi PHC Seelapadi Block/ Dindigul. RRT investigated the outbreak. House to house survey in the affected area done. Majority of cases were below 14 years of age. All cases treated Cases reported from Village Bhadsa, SC Manara. Block Purulia-I, Purulia. RRT investigated the outbreak. House to house survey done. Majority of cases were in 0-5 year age group. 06 samples collected sent to BS Medical College Hospital, Bankura ; result awaited. 7 FOLLOW UP OF DISEASE OUTBREAKS OF PREVIOUS WEEKS 1. Goa North Goa i. KFD /02/15 44 Cases of fever with loose motion and vomiting reported in 10th week ending on 08th March 2015, further 07 more cases reported from CHC Valpoi, Taluka Sattari North Goa. State RRT along with Central team from NCDC is investigating the outbreak. All the cases are living on the fringe of Madei Wild Life Reserve and have cashew plantations at the border of the forest. There were reports of monkey deaths from parts of the forest from 20 th February samples were sent to Manipal Centre for Virus Research, Manipal (MCRV), all samples tested negative for Dengue, Leptospira and scrub typhus. 26 out of 33 samples tested positive for KFDV by RT-PCR. One female aged 55 years and 03 males aged 60, 50 and 35years respectively died due to the condition. Meeting was held on at PHC Sankhali, which was attended by stakeholders from health department, Forest dept., Animal husbandary and veterinary sciences from Valpoi and nearby taluka (Bicholim & Sankhali).All cases are being treated 7
