13 Message framing changes with age Older adults may relate to risk of hearing loss in later in life, youth are invincible and less likely to respond to potential health effects in the distant future. Youth respond to cues they have personally experienced, e.g. tinnitus after high-level music exposure. Effectiveness of Negative versus Positive message framing changes with age
14 Leverage those with influence Teachers/Educators and Healthcare professionals are trusted sources of health information.
15 Leverage those with influence The media is pervasive, know how to leverage the media and empower youth to challenge and understand the contradictory sources of information.
