Special grain refiner waxes ensure a fine-grained microstructure and improve the mechanical and physical properties of the partial denture framework. 3 Step 1 Model fabrication. We are one of the market leaders for dental plasters. Special plasters, as well as type 3 hard plasters and type 4 super-hard plasters, are developed, processed and optimised at the highest level. For you as a user, this means that you receive materials with first-class physical properties. The type 4 super-hard plasters have strong thixotropic behaviour, i.e. good flow properties with vibration and at the same time high stability without vibration. As a user, you profit from the result of easy flow into impressions and from smooth, bubble-free and detailed models. 4 Step 2 Duplication. The Heraeus Kulzer partial denture system with cross-linked, non-shrinking and low-filler silicones Heraform and Heraform RS (A+B components) offers the ideal materials for fabrication of duplicate models. The Vario duplicating flask system consists of two different sizes and allows completely even expansion of the investment compound model. Two types of duplication can be used with the Vario duplication flask. Duplication with base impression (e.g. for split-cast models, silicone consumption g depending on size) and economy duplication using the blockout shell and block-out material (silicone consumption g depending on size). 5 Step 3 Fabrication of the investment compound model. Thanks to their reproducible quality and high metrological and application technology standard, you can rely on Heravest investment compounds. 6 Step 4 Modelling. The mechanical and physical properties of casting alloys are determined by the structure. The finer a cast structure is, the better the physical and mechanical properties of the cast object. Heraeus Kulzer has developed a process for placing the crystal nuclei inside the mould cavity in order to achieve such fine-grained cast structures. Heraeus Kulzer KF partial denture wax makes it easy to apply fine grains to the mould cavity. Additional steps are not required. The physical/mechanical properties of the partial denture construction are significantly improved. 8 Step 6 Casting. Our Heraenium alloys are high quality products for the partial denture technique. They do not contain additional nickel components and are free of beryllium and cadmium. They are synthesised to provide high strength with good elasticity. They pour well and have excellent flow and mould-filling properties. The NPM partial denture frameworks are easily polished to a high gloss. The Heraeus Kulzer precious metal alloys described below are especially suitable for producing a partial denture from precious metal. With our high performance inductive vacuum pressure-casting units Heracast iq and Heracast EC, both high gold and basic CoCr alloys are cast quickly and with a reproducible casting quality. Besides our graphite crucibles and graphite inserts, the special NPM and PM ceramic crucible for NPM or PM alloys offer outstanding thermoshock resistance and resist oxide attack even after repeated use. 9 Step 7 Devestment/Elaboration. With the Special abrasive material M, Heraeus Kulzer offers a very good product for removing the oxide layers for NPM partial denture. Herapol is an electrolytic polishing bath for producing high-gloss partial denture frameworks. 10 Step 8 Joining technology. We offer you the suitable solders, soldering aids, laser welding wires and composite adhesives for our Heraenium partial denture alloys and PM alloys. Our composite adhesives are highstrength, dual-curing and suitable for fastening standard and individual attachments. The CoCrbasis laser welding wires are made of a special carbon-free CoCr-basis alloy. They are very well suited for crack-free welding insusceptible to embrittlement. Our Stahlgold solder 750 and 910 is especially suitable for soldering our partial denture alloys. 11 Step 9 Attachments. Our attachments allow you to cover 90 per cent of all your requirements for combined dentures. T-attachments, such as DuoLock, are rigid intracoronal precision attachments with adjustable friction to the prosthetic restoration with cantilever and bounded partial dentures, as well as removable bridges. The activating screw in the pratrix allows the desired tension to be set individually, simply and accurately. This leads to a high level of wearing comfort and provides the assurance of an extraordinarily well adapted prosthesis fixation over a long period. These attachments have proven their worth for decades. For bonding, we offer the Attachment bond and Durobond high strength, dual-curing composite adhesives.
