In a clinical evaluation, over 6% of the dentists who used Ketac N1 in their practice rated the final overall esthetics the same or better than their current composite restorative material.* Excellent esthetics: Inspired by the success of Filtek Supreme XT Universal Restorative, shades of Ketac N1 restorative were developed to match the shade targets of Filtek Supreme XT restorative. Superb polish: In-vitro testing results show Ketac N1 restorative has higher initial polish than other glass ionomer materials. AFMs prove Ketac N1 restorative surfaces remain smooth. High initial gloss and a smooth surface contribute to improved esthetics of restorations and impact patient comfort and satisfaction with their clinical work. The study below uses images taken under an Atomic Force Microscope (AFMs) to prove the smooth surface of Ketac N1 restorative and a composite material after being polished with a diamond-impregnated polishing system whereas the surfaces of two competitive resin-modified glass ionomers showed surface imperfections. 4 Nanotechnology is the difference. Ketac N1 Light-Curing Nano-Ionomer Restorative is the first paste/paste, resin-modified glass ionomer material developed with nanotechnology.
