Cursul va fi sustinut in limba engleza, si va avea un numar maxim de 30 de participanti; cursul se organizeaza daca un minim de 15 participanti si-au confirmat prezenta. In cazul in care numarul doctorilor inscrisi va fi mai mic, cursul va fi anulat, iar plata va fi restituita integral.

Fiecare zi de curs cuprinde: Teorie discutii si comentarii despre rezultatele clinice publicate in lucrari stiintifice, avantaje si dezavantaje in practica; cazuri clinice- prezentare si discutii; Chirugie live posibilitatea de a urmari live interventiile chirurgicale, discutii pe marginea acestora. - inregistrarea interventiilor chirurgicale pe DVD, pentru fiecare participant. 6 CURRICULUM VITAE GIUSEPPE CORRENTE MD, DDS In 1981 he received a degree in Medicine and Surgery, and completed the post-graduate course in Odontostomatology at the University of Torino in From 1987 to 2005 he was Temporary Professor of Periodontology at the post-graduate courses in Odontostomatology, in Orthodontics and in Oral Surgery and at the graduate course in Dentistry and Dental Prosthesis at the same University, where he also had the role of Didactic Coordinator and Lecturer in Surgical Periodontal Techniques for the postgraduate courses in Periodontology and Periodontal Surgery. In the year 2000 he received from SIDP (Italian Society of Periodontology) the H.M. Goldman award for Clinical Research in Periodontology, for a research on combined orthodontic-periodontal therapy; he was also admitted to the final of the same research prize in He was founder and Past President of APOR (Periodontology and Restorative Dentistry Association). He received the Certificate of Appreciation from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston; he was collaborator of the Department of Periodontology of the same University for continuing education programs. He held lectures and courses at Harvard University, New York University, and Titu Maiorescu University in Bucarest, were he was Associate Member of the Teaching Staff in Actually he is Adjunct Clinical Professor in Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania Philadelphia. In 2003 he was awarded with the Honorary Membership of the Rumanian Society of Stomatology. He has been lecturer, in courses, conferences and congresses on Periodontology and Implantology topics, on which he is the author of 17 publications on international journals (International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry,Journal of Periodontology,Journal of Clinical Periodontology, Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants, Journal of Cranio-Facial Surgery, American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Clinical Orthodontics and Research, World Journal of Orthodontics, Orthodontics and Craniofacial Research). Together with Dr. Roberto Abundo he is author of the text-book Immediate postextraction implants/sinus floor elevation by crestal approach published in English, Italian, Spanish and Korean. He works in Torino, with private practice limited to Periodontology and Implantology in the multidisciplinary dental clinic and education centre directed by himself.

7 CURRICULUM VITAE ROBERTO ABUNDO MD, DDS In 1989 he received a degree in Medicine and Surgery with a thesis on gingival recessions and completed the post-graduate course in Odontostomatology at the University of Torino in For his post-graduate thesis on surgical and non-surgical periodontal therapy, he received the F. Bazzano award from APOR (Periodontology and Restorative Dentistry Association) in In this Association, he became first an Active Member, then Scientific Secretary from 1994 to From 1989 to 1995 he was an Attending Doctor, then a Tutor at the post-graduate course in Periodontology at the Department of Periodontology of the University of Torino. At the same University, he was also Lecturer in Alternative options in Periodontal Therapy at the post-graduate course of Periodontal Surgery and from 1994 to 2005 he was Temporary Professor of Periodontology at the post-graduate course in Oral Surgery. In the year 2000 he received from the SIDP (Italian Society of Periodontology) the H.M. Goldman award for Cinical Research in Periodontology, for a research on combined orthodontic-periodontal therapy; he was admitted two more times to the final of the same research prize. In the same Society he was Messenger during the Implant project and the Periodontal Therapy Project He also attended the Departmant of Periodontology at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston where he acted as a translator in continuing education courses. He is co-author of the text-book Medical pathology during pregnancy. Diagnosis-Prognosis-Therapy, in which he wrote the chapter Dental therapy during pregnancy. Together with Dr. Giuseppe Corrente he is author of the text-book Immediate postextraction implants/sinus floor elevation by crestal approach published in English, Italian, Spanish and Korean. Pupil and collaborator of Dr. Giuseppe Corrente, he works in Torino with private practice limited to Periodontology and Implantology in the multi-disciplinary clinic and education centre directed by Dr. Corrente himself.
