1 HOW TO USE PROTOCOL MANAGER FOR BODY MRI CASES First, yu need t set up yur MR filter as illustrated belw Lg int Imagecast n First, click Wrklist Next, click Prtcl Finally, click filters. When yu d, the fllwing dialg bx will pen Under Filter Name, select (New) Under Date Range, select Tday Under Organizatin, click the ellipsis (the 3 dts twards the end f the line, t the left f the X ) PROTOCOL MANAGER PAGE 1

2 Select CMIL, COB, DMR, JCCI, JHN, RIMR, TJUH Click OK Under Mdality, click the ellipsis Select MR Click OK Under Sub-Specialty, click the ellipsis Select GENERAL, MR BODY Click OK Under Exam Status, select Scheduled & In Prgress Under Exclude Existing, yu can chse: Yes if yu want t see nly the studies that need a prtcl N if yu want t see all studies that have and d nt have prtcls Click save. A dialg bx will pen as indicated belw Under New Filter Name, yu can chse whatever name yu d like. I chse MR Click k At the cnclusin, abve is hw yur filter shuld lk (except pssibly the Exclude Existing ptin) PROTOCOL MANAGER PAGE 2

4 Search thrugh different pages fr the apprpriate prtcl. Click n desired prtcl (see Additinal Infrmatin Abut Prtcl Cde Chices sectin f this instructin pamphlet fr lcatins f mst frequently used ptins) Click + as indicated abve PROTOCOL MANAGER PAGE 4

5 Type in the specific prtcl in the Cmments bx Address: Use f Gadlinium Dse f Gadlinium if using Multihance r if ding an angigram/vengram egfr (r the need fr a mre recent Cr if needed) Click the circle t the left f the prtcl cde (in this case MR Liver ) t make sure it is selected Click save Click clse If yu want t erase the prtcl, select the prtcl cde and click n the x t the right f Cde, as marked by the green arrw abve PROTOCOL MANAGER PAGE 5

6 Yu can use the Mems sectin t dcument any calls that yu make t clinicians (clarify an indicatin, etc ) It may be helpful t include the phne number yu used fr future reference Click save after yu have finished yur mem Explanatin f symbls A checkmark in the left clumn means that this study has a prtcl The square yellw icn in the left clumn means that a technlgist r radilgist has typed in a mem The paper clip in the left clumn means that dcuments were scanned and attached t the entry T view the scanned material, select the accessin number PROTOCOL MANAGER PAGE 6
