As such, CarePint Health will act upn any reprt and/r recmmendatins frm authrized agencies, as apprpriate. It is the bligatin f each emplyee, cntractr, and medical staff member t make a gd faith effrt t understand CarePint Health plicies and standards. Additinally, plicies, rules and regulatins that affect each area f respnsibility shuld be understd, and clarificatin sught when smething is unclear. In furtherance f prviding specific guidance regarding standards r emplyee respnsibilities, CarePint Health has adpted a Cde f Business Cnduct and Ethics ( the Cde ). Vilatins f the Cde may result in disciplinary actin leading up t and including terminatin, based n the circumstances. In certain cases criminal prsecutin may result. N adverse actin r retributin will be taken against an emplyee, cntractr r member f the medical staff wh in gd faith, reprts a suspected vilatin f the Cde. CarePint Health will regularly review, enhance, and amend the Cde t meet evlving cmpliance guidelines and t implement mre internal cntrl and mnitring prcesses. PURPOSE The purpse f this Cde is t cmmunicate in writing, the expectatin fr basic standards f ethical behavir f all CarePint Health emplyees. It is expected that CarePint Health emplyees will maintain the highest ethical, prfessinal and legal standards. CarePint Health emplyees, cntractrs and members f the medical staff will recgnize that each individual is accuntable fr their wn actins; hwever, as members f the cmmunity we are cllectively accuntable fr uphlding high standards f behavir and cmpliance with all applicable law and regulatins. RESPONSIBILITIES All new emplyees and cntractrs will be issued a Cde during New Hire Orientatin at which time they will sign an acknwledgement statement that they have received the Cde and agree t abide by it during their emplyment with CarePint Health (Attachment A). Members f the medical staff will receive the

Revisins r updates t the Cde will be available t emplyees and cntractrs n the electrnic learning management system platfrm fr emplyees and cntractrs t review and acknwledge during mandatry annual cmpliance training. Members f the medical staff will receive updates during each re-credentialing cycle and may btain cpies sner frm the medical staff ffice. In accrdance with the Cde, all CarePint Health emplyees, cntractrs and medical staff have an bligatin t: Fllw CarePint Health s Missin and Visin Statements; Becme familiar with the CarePint Health Cde f Cnduct (especially in the areas that pertain t their respnsibilities); and Reprt knwn r suspected vilatins f the Cde, hspital plicy, law r regulatins. The Cde is intended t be cmprehensive and easily understd. CarePint Health has established numerus plicies and prcedures t prmte cmpliance with sund legal and ethical principles, which may nt be described in the Cde.
