2 ATENTIONARI Atentionari Folosire si pastrare Aparatul este destinat pentru a fi folosit acasa Inaintea utilizarii, aparatul trebuie lasat sa se aclimatizeze cu temperatura mediului ambiant aproximativ 20 minute. Pentru a obtine masuratori exacte, nu permiteti prafului si al altor corpuri straine sa patrunda in fanta de introducere a benzii de testare Nu incercati sa desfaceti, sa reparati si/sau sa aduceti modificari aparatului. Nu asezati aparatul langa alte aparate care emit unde electromagnetice ( ex. televizoare, aparate cu microunde, telefoane mobile ). Nu bruscati si nu loviti aparatului in timpul folosirii. Pentru curatarea aparatului nu folositi solutii acide sau diluanti (ex.acetona), este recomandata utilizarea unei carpe de bumbac usor umezita. Aveti grija ca testele sa fie utilizate numai in termenul de valabilitate. Nu refolositi testele. Utilizarea acestui produs nu este recomandat femeilor gravide, copiilor nou nascuti sau persoanelor care au o deshidratare accentuata. Aparatul SHL-G800 utilizeaza numai teste modelul SHL-GS50 () Informatii de siguranta Inaintea utilizarii produsului, cititi cu atentie manualul de utilizare. Nu pastrati aparatul si celelalte accesorii ale acestuia in locuri unde copilul poate ajunge cu usurinta. Dezinfectati si stergeti aparatul de petele de sange aparute. Nu reutilizati benzile de teste. Acordati mare atentie la manuirea testelor si lansatorului de ace. Intregul aparat este folosit numai pentru uz extern. ATENTIONARI Atentionari asupra benzilor de test (strip) Continut produs SHL-G800 Benzile de test sunt sensibile la umiditate, de aceea recipientul in care se gasesc testele trebuie sa aiba in permanenta capacul inchis. Nu permiteti ca benzile de test sa stea foarte mult timp in afara recipientului. Scoaterea testului din recipient se face cu mana curata si uscata. Testele SHL-GS50() se folosesc numai la aparatul SHL-G800. Notati data deschiderii unei sticlute de test pentru a evita utilizarea acestora dupa expirare. Verificati validitatea testelor inainte de utilizare. Cititi cu atentie manualul, mai ales in cea ce priveste testele Introduceti testul in aparat in locul indicat in imaginea de mai sus, iar in scurt timp veti auzi un bip si pe ecran va apare un cod. Verificarea codului Verificati daca codul aparut pe ecran este acelasi cu cel de pe sticluta. Daca codul de pe ecran nu corespunde cu cel de pe sticluta va trebui efectuata setarea corecta a codului in aparat. 4 5

4 PREGATIRE Ajustarea codului 50 Aparatul permite setarea codurilor de la 01 la 70, setarea din fabrica va avea codul. Ajustarea codului se face cu autorul butoanelor M sau C. Apasand pe butonul M acesta va incrementa cate o unitate, apasand pe butonul C acesta va decrementa cate o unitate. Tinand apasat mai mult timp pe butonul M sau C se va incrementa sau decrementa mai repede. In momentul introducerii testului in aparat acesta va afisa scurt timp pe ecran toate simbolurile, dupa care va indica pentru 3 secunde codul existent in memorie. In momentul in care pe afisaj apare codul, se pot face ajustarile astfel incat codul de pe sticluta sa corespunda cu ce este afisat. In momentul in care codul de pe afisaj corespunde cu cel de pe sticluta nu se mai apasa pe nimic. Asteptati 3 secunde si aparatul va trece in modul de asteptare a picaturii de sange. Codul, odata setat in aparat va fi memorat, aceasta procedura trebuie refacuta doar daca un nou recipient cu teste are alt cod sau daca este necesara inlocuirea bateriei. Simbolul, asteptarea picaturii de sange Dupa alegerea corecta a codului, la un interval de 3 secunde, pe afisaj va apare simbolul, incepand din acest moment aparatul este pregatit pentru masurarea glicemiei, asteptand picatura de sange pe banda de test. Metode de testare Dezinfectare Inainte de a se face testul de glicemie, spalati-va pe maini cu apa calda si sapun, apoi stergeti-va bine, astfel incat mainile sa fie uscate. Puteti sa dezinfectati degetul din care veti lua picatura de sange cu o carpa curata de bumbac inmuiata in alcool, apoi asteptati evaporarea alcoolului de pe deget Cum colectam picatura de sange 1. Desurubati capul lansetei in sensul invers acelor de ceasornic 2. In timp ce tineti partea inferioara a lansetei luati un ac steril si il introduceti in aceasta 3. Rasuciti capul de plastic ce protejeaza varful acului si desprindeti-l, astfel ca acesta sa ramana liber PREGATIRE

5 PREGATIRE Puneti la loc partea superioara a lansetei, prin infiletare in sensul acelor de ceasornic. 5. Tineti ferm cu o mana partea superioara a lansetei si trageti cu cealalta mana de partea glisanta care se afla in capatul celalalt al lansetei. Acum lanseta s-a incarcat si va permite prin apasarea butonului de pe lanseta sa faca intepatura. 6. Asezati degetul din care doriti sa luati sange in varful lansetei si apasati pe butonul de pe lanseta. Adaugarea picaturii de sange Atingeti la baza picaturii de sange cu capatul testului care a ramas in afara aparatului. Picatura de sange va fi absorbita, prin canalul benzii de test, pana la umplerea acestuia, pe ecran va incepe numerotarea inversa incepand cu cifra 5. Capatul benzii de test trebuie asezata la baza picaturii de sange. Nu picurati sange direct pe banda de test. PREGATIRE 7 7. Strangeti si masati usor degetul pana va apare o picatura de sange pe varful degetului. NU stoarceti cu putere. Dupa scoaterea benzii de test din aparat acesta se va inchide automat. Daca rezultatul testului este anormal, folositi o noua banda de test. 9

6 PREGATIRE. Utilizarea memoriei si setarile aparatului Verificarea rezultatelor din memoria aparatului In acest moment, daca apasati in mod repetat butonul C, pe ecran vor fi afisate pe rand rezultatele ultimelor masuratori memorate de aparat. PREGATIRE BEEP! 1.Incepeti cu aparatul inchis. Apasati pe butonul M, veti auzi un bip si aparatul este astfel pornit. 2. Imediat dup pornire pe ecran vor fi afisate data si ora DAY AVG 3. Dupa 2 secunde, apartul va afisa automat media rezultatelor obtinute din masuratorile ultimele 14 zile. 4. Apasati o data pe butonul C si rezultatul celei mai recente masuratori va fi afisat impreuna cu informatiile despre data si ora Dupa verificarea completa a rezultatelor din memorie, puteti parasi operatiunea prin apasarea butonului M, astfel aparatul se va inchide. Tinand apasat pe butonul C viteza derularii rezultatelor va fi accelerata. Daca nu se inchide aparatul apasand pe butonul M, acesta se va inchide automat in 10 min

Setarea minutului Cand cifra care simbolizeaza minutul clipeste, apasati pe butonul C de cate ori este nevoie pana cand va aparea cifra minutului dorit. Apoi apasati o data pe butonul M pentru mutarea setarii pe o alta cifra care va clipi. Setarea anului Setarea anului se face de la cifra 08 la 20 (adica intre 2008 si 2020). Cand cifra care simbolizeaza anul (08) clipeste, apasati pe butonul C de cate ori este nevoie pana la aparitia anului curent. Apasati o data pe butonul M pentru alta setare. Incepeti cu aparatul inchis. Tineti apasat pe butonul M 3 secunde, veti auzi un bip si pe ecran vor apare toate simbolurile. Dupa o secunda aparatul va afisa trecerea in modul de executie a setarilor Tineti apasat butonul M pana ce pe ecran va apare cuvantul del, prescurtare de la delete ( stergere ) 14 Pentru inchiderea aparatului, tineti apasat butonul M timp de 3 secunde. 15

9 PREGATIRE Memorarea rezultatului testarilor Daca doriti sa pastrati datele in memorie, alegeti simbolul NO si apasati pe butonul M pentru a trece la pasul urmator. PREGATIRE DAY AVG Dupa aparitia cuvantului del pe ecran aparatul va afisa NO sau YES. Comutati intre aceste optiuni cu ajutorul butonului C. Daca vrem sa stergem toate rezultatele apasam pe butonul M cand pe ecran este afisat simbolul YES. Toate rezultatele vor fi sterse iar pe ecran vor disparea simbolurile. Inchiderea aparatului se va face apasand din nou pe butonul M Setari la final Daca la finalul setarilor apasti butonul M pentru 3 secunde aparatul salveaza setarile si se inchide. 16 Daca doriti sa stergeti rezultatul testului apasati butonul M in momentul in care pe ecran se afla simbolul YES Daca doriti sa pastrati rezultatul testului apasati butonul M in momentul in care pe ecran se afla simbolul NO Nu conteaza pasii urmati la setarea aparatului, el va retine mereu in memorie ultimle setari si se va inchide, indiferent cat de mult tineti apasat butonul M 17

10 PREGATIRE Marcarea rezultatelor speciale Marcarea inainte sau dupa masa. Acest marcaj apare cand vreti sa stiti diferenta de rezultate intre inainte de masa /dupa masa si situatia din prezent. Dupa aparitia rezultatului masuratorii, apasati pe butonul M sau C de doua ori, aceasta ducand la aparitia pe ecran a simbolului. Scoateti banda test si aparatul se va inchide automat. Inlocuirea bateriei Aparatul Healthy Line SHL-800 foloseste o baterie de lithium model CR2032 Semnalul Baterie Consumata 1 Cand energia aparatului nu mai este suficienta, pe ecran va apare simbolul. Din momentul aparitiei acsetui simbol pe ecran, se mai pot face circa 50 de testari, dar se recomanda inlocuirea bateriei cat mai rapid. PREGATIRE Marcarea rezultatelor speciale. Puteti utiliza aceasta functie cand doriti sa va amintiti de rezultatul obtinut in conditii speciale (de exemplu: sport, deshidratare severa etc.). Cand pe ecran va fi afisat rezultatul obtinut in astfel de conditii, apasati pe butonul M sau C o singura data iar simbolul va apare pe ecran. Scoateti banda test si aparatul se va inchide automat. Schimbarea bateriei 2 Inchideti aparatul, desfaceti capacul de pe spate unde se afla bateria. Scoateti bateria uzata si montati noua baterie tinand cont de polaritatea acesteia (partea pozitiva cu fata in sus).apasati capacul in jos si veti auzi un TICK. TICK! Daca din nou va arata simbolul Lo atunci consultati urgent un medic. 20 Picatura de sange nu a fost suficienta pentru masuratoare, vascozitatea a fost prea mare sau volumul insuficient Reluati testarea. 13 CAUTIONS 24 Cautions Usage and storage Medisign MM800 Monitoring System is designed for home usage. Before using your monitoring system, please place it in the environment of system's normal operating temperature ranging (10-40 )for about 20 minutes. Don't allow dust and foreign bodies into test strip slot in order to avoid affecting the system's accuracy. Don't decompose, demolish, repair or transform the system at any time. Don't put the system near any electromagnetic field. (e.g. TV, microwave oven, mobile phone ) Don't allow the monitoring system to collide with others during usage. Please use a soft cotton cloth to wipe the system. Don't use a corrosive product (e.g. Acetone) to wipe the monitoring system. Cautions about the SHL-GSXX Test Strips The test strip is sensitive to humidity; please cover the vial's lid during the storage. Don't allow test strips to be exposed to outside for long time. Take test strips out with clean, dry hands. The validity of the test strip is 18 months under seal, and the validity is 3 months open vial. Please protect test strips to maintain validity. 15 PREPARE 50 Adjust Code Blood glucose monitoring system has set up codes from 01 to 70, and the system's default code is. Adjust code using 'M' or 'C' button. Press 'M' button to adjust code up, and press 'C' button to adjust code down. Press and hold 'M' or 'C' button to adjust code quickly. When code is 01, press 'C' button again, the code will become 70. However, when code is 70, press 'M' button again, the code will become 01 The Method of Testing Disinfect Before Test Before test, please clean hands with soap and water and then dry well. You can also use an alcoholic cotton cloth to clean finger. Please wait until the alcohol disappears completely. How to Collect Blood 1 Blod Symbol 1. Unscrew the tip of the lancing device by turning it counterclockwise After choosing the correct code in 3 seconds,the display screen will show the flashing blood symbol. 16 SETTING vv 4 4. Put the tip of the lancing device back on and turn it clockwise Add Blood Sample Hold the tip firmly in one hand then pull out the sliding barrel with the other hand. This will cock the lancing device 6. Hold the meter firmly against the side of the finger, with the cap resting on the finger. Press the release button to take a sample Touch the blood drop to the sample channel at the end of the strip. The blood is drawn into the test strip automatically. When you hear the beeper, you can start the test. After 5 seconds, the result will appear. 17 SETTING. Review & Setting Checking Test Results 5 5. Press 'C' button every time, the screen will show the test result, date and time BEEP! DAY AVG 6 6. After completing the check, press 'M' button, and the meter will turn off. 1. Begin with the meter off. Press 'M' button, and you will hear the beep and the meter will turn on. 2. The screen will display the date and time 3. After 2 seconds, the last 14 days average result will be displayed. 4. Press 'C' button one time, the screen will show the most recent test result, date and time. Press and hold 'C' button, the speed of test results will be accelerated, and the screen will show the overlap speed. 18 SETTING Setting the Date and Time BEEP! Begin with the meter off, press 'M' button for 3 seconds, you will hear the beep, the screen will show the whole symbol of system. After 1 second, the display screen will show as left picture. Setting the Month When month mode blinks, press and release 'C' Button until correct month appears. Press 'M' button to set and move To date setting mode. Setting the Date When date mode blinks, press and release 'C' button until correct date appears. Press 'M' button to set and move to time setting mode. Setting the minute 36 When minute mode blinks, press and release 'C' button until correct minute appears. Press 'M' button to set and move to year setting mode. Setting the year Entering the year mode, the screen will show the number '08'. This number stands for the year of Press and release 'C' button until correct year appears. Setting the year from 08 to 20 ( ), after changing the number to '20', press 'C' button again, the number will return to '08' automatically. Begin with the meter off, press 'M' button for 3 seconds, you will hear the beep, the screen will show the whole symbol of system. The screen will show as above picture after about 1 second. Press and hold 'M' button until the screen will show the word 'del' briefly. DELETE 37

20 DELETE 38 4 After the word 'del' appears, the screen will show the symbol 'NO' or 'YES'. (Press 'C' button to switch your option.) 5 6 If you want to delete the test result, press 'M' button when the screen shows the symbol 'YES'. The whole test result will be deleted. DAY AVG After deleting, the screen will show as above picture. Press 'M' button again, the meter will turn off. If you want to delete the test result, please press 'M' button when the screen shows the symbol YES. If you want to store the test result, please press 'M' button when then screen shows the symbol NO. Storing Test Results Setting Complete If you want to store the test result, please choose the symbol 'NO' and press 'M' button again to move the next step. After setting complete, press 'M' button for 3 seconds, the meter stores the setting and turns it off. 21 MEMORY Special Results The mark of before or after meal Replacing Battery Blood glucose meter uses a lithium battery (CR2032). Empty Battery Sign This mark appears when you want to know the different result between before/after meal and present. After the test result appears, press 'M' or 'C' button twice after inserting test strip, the " " appears. Blood sample was applied to the test strip before the blood drop mark ( ) appeared on the screen. Temperature is too hot or too cold for the system to work properly. The Blood sample did not fill enough during measurement because of abnormally high viscosity or insufficient volume. Replace the new test strip. Apply blood sample to the test strip after the blood drop mark appears on the screen. Put the meter and test strip into the environment of temperature from 10 to 40. You may use it after about 20 minutes. Replace the test strip. When the test result is greater than 33.3mmol/L, the screen will show the Hi mark. It is indicated that the value of your blood glucose is too high. When the test result is lower than 1.1mmol/L, the screen will show the Lo mark. It is indicated that the value of your blood glucose is too low. Replace the test strip. If Hi mark also appears, please call your healthcare professional immediately.
