2 Setup Basics System Settings 1 When you initially sign up for MainSet, you need to set up Roster Group colors and designate coaches. first, Click settings 1. Navigate to and click Login in upper-right. 2. Enter your username and password for your team site, then click Login. 3. Click Settings in the upper-right. 4. Set Roster Group colors to be used in the Practice Calendar. These Groups are pulled directly from SwimOffice. Click edit, then click a color swatch to assign colors to roster groups

3 Setup Basics Designate MainSet Users 2 Add all your coaches and staff to MainSet. Set Search for Coaches to add to MainSet Click to add coaches to MainSet MainSet admin level 1. Click the Coaches tab. 2. Search for your coaches by their name or login address and click Add next to their name. 3. Set their MainSet admin level in the Selected Coaches column. i. Head Coach Complete create, edit, and access control for all administrator levels. ii. Assistant Coach Create & edit control for the individual user only. iii. Videographer Record, tag, edit, and upload videos for coach viewing only. 4. Click Update to save changes.

5 Anatomy of MainSet Web App Features 4 Accounts & Members Access Account and Member data, add and edit coaches, communicate via or text, and export custom reports. These are the exact same modules as Account/Member Admin in SwimOffice. Settings Add and edit Roster Groups, Roster Group colors, and Locations. View MainSet plan purchased and billing statements. Change Team Club Code. Import Best Times. Workouts View and print workouts and sets, adjust and add tags, stroke types, set types and swim descriptions for in-app use. Video Library View, categorize, tag and upload videos. Coaches Add/remove coaches, and designate their admin levels. Since both the Mobile and Web application are connected to the same database, when you add or change something in one you ll see it reflected in the other.

6 Anatomy of MainSet Mobile Features 5 Workout & Practice Create a practice calendar, write workouts, sets and swims, share or discover community workouts, run a practice, take attendance and record test sets. for Tap or Swipe menu Video Producer Record videos of swimmers, then tag, upload and share them with the whole team, privately with select athletes, or coaches only. Membership Access and edit parent and athlete profiles, communicate with Accounts and Members, view best times, compare athletes against time standards, and track upcoming birthdays. Reports Robust performance reporting to display workout histories, test set results and practice attendance. Other Cool Tools Stopwatch, Time Converter and a Pace Calculator. Long press to rearrange Menu Items. top screen shows first upon login.

8 Create Practice Schedule 7 Creating a practice schedule is a quick and effective tool for setting up your team s entire season. Set Up Your Calendar Tap Repeats Set Up Repeats Multiple Calendar Views Assign Coaches to Enable Search and Filtering Capabilities Select unlimied dates by tapping on each date over a range of months

9 Write Workouts 8 Workouts are made of Sets, and Sets are made of Swims. Create New Workout Add New Set Add Swims / Rest Time Define Each Swim Tap or Swipe for Swims menu Use clone to quickly create and edit variations Select Select to build repeats of groups to track Test Sets are blue

10 Connect Workouts to a Practice 9 Once you have written workouts, connect one or more to a practice to then run it. Select a Practice Add Workouts Select Workout(s) and Add to Practice Ready to Run You can create a new workout here if multiple workouts, Use Arrows to cycle through workouts

11 Run a Practice 10 Running a practice involves taking attendance and timing any Test Sets. All the data gets saved to be viewed in Reports by coaches, parents and athletes. Select One of Today s Practices Take Attendance Select Workout and State Assign Lanes if Test Set Exists After Taking attendance, run Shows Workout on whiteboard view To add Swimers from another roster location state: 1/2 gives credit for 1/2 the distance in workout Upon tapping DONE, the assigned workouts and attendance will be saved and visible in reports

12 Test Set Prep 11 Timing a Test Set preserves all the stats for inclusion in Reports. Tap Test Set to Time Prepare the Test Set Change interval between sendoffs Change passing mode To spread swimmers across more lanes Enter starting rates, then ending rates when finished Long press to move swimmers within same lane or into any other lanes Exclude lane(s) for another coach to time

13 Run a Test Set 12 Tap START once you ve prepped the Test Set. Time Lanes All Swimmers Finished View Results View Results Later Tap Finish Swim after each swim of set Row flashes green for next send-off Tap green arrow if swimmer passes another Tap Skip if swimmer can t finish lap Enter ending heart rates Tap a heart to view start/end rates if entered Tap Edit, then tap any time or heart to change Tap Save to Reporting to save for tracking Pull down to join timing by multiple coaches

14 Reports 13 All your hard work of defining intensity in sets, taking attendance, and timing test sets pays off with instantly available results for coaches, families, and swimmers to see from the Reports menu. 15 Record, Tag, Edit, & Share Video 14 Video Producer gives you the ability to import, record, edit, tag and share videos with your coaches, team and swimmers, all in a controlled and secure environment. Select Recording Category or Import Record a Video Tag, Edit, Upload View / Edit Video Tap to view / edit Imported videos show in Local Videos > Pending Uploads select recording framerate set countdown to record Tap Save to store without uploading to edit and upload later Or tap Upload to save to the cloud AFTER editing Drag upper trim arrows to trim video Drag lower thin vertical bars to specify slo-mo portion Select slo-mo speed at bottom right Tap Trim to save edits
