2 Summary Functional Strength and Conditioning (Kinetic Link Training) will educate and inspire all physiotherapists and exercise professionals who are dedicated to assisting clients achieve 100% return to function. You will enjoy, two days packed full of effective exercises, innovative ideas and current functional strength training concepts. It is a very practical program which will give you all the tools you need to design and deliver highly effective strength training programs for all your clients - from low-level rehab to high-level sports conditioning. The course is delivered by a well-established and internationally popular Australian Physiotherapy Association accredited training program. Course Highlights: - Fully explore the latest strength and conditioning principles in relation to functional resistance training - Discover successful methods for integrating functional training into your current practice model and develop a significant second income stream. - Master exercise training skills which deliver superior functional outcomes for a huge variety of clients - Learn to train movement patterns in 3 dimensions (including KLT's 22 essential movement patterns) - Create fully balanced functional strength and conditioning programs by using a precise system of training - the Kinetic Link Training System - Take home an e-book course manual and online access to HD movies of all the exercises taught on the course The course has a maximum of 24 participants. All Health Adventure courses integrate clinical reasoning with the latest in evidence based scientific opinion, allowing participants to discover effective strategies for success. The delivery format is highly practical and very interactive with a significant percentage (at least 60%) of every course dedicated to practical skills. The course is fully accredited with the Australian Physiotherapy Association, American Council on Exercise and Fitness Australia, Exercise and Sports Science Australia. The course represents CPDs / CECs equivalent to 15 hours of study. Content Principles of Strength and Conditioning - Principles of functional training program design

4 Objectives At the completion of this course, participants should be able to: - Apply the latest principles of functional resistance training to assist in designing highly effective exercise programs. - Develop periodised functional strength and conditioning programs for a diverse variety of clients - from rehab or de-conditioned to elite athlete - Utilise concepts such as the kinetic-link principle, stability driven training, timeunder-tension and energy system training. - Manipulate program variables to train specifically for endurance, hypertrophy or maximum strength - Systematically progress athletes from basic functional training to advanced sports conditioning. - Develop exercises which encompass full body integrated training, and classify / describe exercises with respect to movement patterns rather than muscle groups. - Recognise musculoskeletal subsystems / slings and train across these systems to stimulate global core stability. - Demonstrate proficiency in performing a comprehensive progression of resistance training exercises from basic functional training to advanced sports conditioning.
