We are hoping by year end to complete first phase of expansion which entails taking down the left wall and opening up into massage area. Second phase is on Tracy s wish list for Spring 17 of getting an arch window on the outside wall facing Free Street. Will certainly keep you posted on progress as we grow!! It was originally developed for NFL players, and has a long time standing for improving the health of not only NFL players but Olympians, and other proathletes as well. This is not the stretching you were taught in gym class either. This technique is done on a massage table with the use of straps to allow the FST therapist to work the body thoroughly; in fact, many people who have experienced FST with either Matt or Jillian say that it provides all the benefits of a massage plus more, and leave feeling less pain and better mobility. Fascial Stretch Therapy There is a new catch word: fascia. Think of it as netting for your muscles, and is responsible for how well we move, the lack of function in our shoulders and hips, and the soreness we feel in our lower backs. By releasing the kinks in the fascia nets, we can restore range of motion, quality of life, as well as the functionality of joints. A few weeks ago, our personal trainers Matt Jones and Jillian Magee attended their Level 2 Fascial Stretch Therapy course held by the Institute to Win. Fascial Stretch Therapy, or FST, is a powerful assisted stretching technique that will However, like most experiences, it is always better to experience than to read about it; so we suggest members who are interested to ask one of us to provide you with a 5 minute quickie so you can see and feel the benefits that FST can do for you.
