1 New, Revised, and Invalid ICD-9-CM Codes for Fiscal 2012 The following code lists contain the new, revised, and invalid ICD-9-CM codes effective October 1, 2011, as approved by the ICD-9-CM Coordination and Maintenance Committee and published in the Federal Register dated May 5, 2011 and CMS-1518-P Tables 6A-6F. While the lists are official, they are not complete. It is expected that there will be additional new and revised codes released in the published official addenda to ICD-9-CM.
