Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs started with the League of Nations precursor in 1912 (led to Harrison Narcotic Act) The Single Convention officiated with 73 nations in counties now represented Article 23 & 28: Cultivation only for medical and scientific purposes. Article 36: requires criminalization of "cultivation, production, manufacture, extraction, preparation, possession, offering, offering for sale, distribution, purchase, sale, delivery on any terms whatsoever, brokerage, dispatch, dispatch in transit, transport, importation and exportation of drugs contrary to the provisions of this Convention. U.N. Single Convention on Drugs, 1961 No marijuana for people in safety sensitive jobs (Union, DOT, etc.) until it is legalized federally. Probably no marijuana for state and federal corrections (drug package). They already prohibit alcohol. Probably no marijuana for employees of organizations that receive federal grants/funding, until it s legalized federally. Possibly other occupations related to federal government, until it s legalized federally. BM91 1
2 You can t make BHO at home. You can only purchase it from a licensed BHO manufacturer. According to Rasmussen Poll: Single men with no children are the most likely of all groups (ethnicity, political party, sex, etc.) to vote in favor of legalization. Women with children are the most likely no voters. Additionally, SurveyUSA s polling on Prop 19 in California, reveals that women had the biggest change of heart prior to voting. Early polls showed women in favor of Prop 19, however, by the eve of the vote, women significantly pulled back against Prop 19. 2
