1 Premier Cares Foundation, Inc. is proud to announce our fourth annual, on the Walkway Over the Hudson, on Saturday, September 28, The Walk presents a meaningful sponsorship opportunity to support an important cause. Last year over 600 people participated in the Walk which raised over $90,000. These funds provided free prostate cancer screenings and cancer treatment services for financially challenged members of our community. The event raised significant awareness of the importance of early detection with the myriad of event-day activities including a prostate cancer speaker panel, medical and pharmaceutical education tables, opportunities to interact with the latest urologic technology (including the Da Vinci Robot), free prostate cancer screening appointment stations, abundant media coverage with live radio broadcasting, and extensive press coverage. Premier Cares Foundation is committed to continuing our efforts to assist our fellow community members with access to free prostate cancer screenings and services. Prostate cancer is one of the most curable types of cancer if diagnosed in the early stages. One in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime. Over 200,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year alone, and sadly 32,000 men will die each year from the disease. The presents an unmatched opportunity for community leaders, businesses and individuals to provide financial support to those men and families touched by prostate cancer. It also represents the only men s health fundraiser in the Hudson Valley! Please review the sponsorship opportunities. All contributions are tax deductible, as allowed by law. We hope you will join us for the magnificent views of the Hudson Valley as you walk 1.2 miles each way, 212 feet over the Hudson River. Enjoy an exhilarating morning with the entire family with refreshments, entertainment, and great prizes. Be a supporter of this important cause and sign up to participate in the Premier Cares. Prostate cancer is one of the most curable types of cancer, if diagnosed in the early stages. One in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime. Premier Medical Group founded Premier Cares Foundation to help provide support, awareness, education and treatment to those individuals in the community with urologic and digestive diseases.
