2 ABOUT BEAUX ARTS FUNDRAISER Each November, Scottsdale Artists School hosts its annual fundraising event, Beaux Arts. The event celebrates the arts and raises funds for a variety of programs and operations at the nonprofit organization. Guests will have the opportunity to view and purchase a variety of artwork by silent auction and live auction, bid on unique trips and treasures, and enjoy food and entertainment while mingling with artists in a large party tent on the School s grounds. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on and purchase original works of art from over 100 professional artists from across the country. Admission is $125 per person and includes a bidder number, food and drinks and live entertainment. VIP admission is $200 and includes a champagne welcome and entertainment, a full hour preview and bidding privileges for all silent auction items, a special raffle, passed hors d'oeuvres, and a designated VIP section. 10 BRIEF HISTORY OF SCOTTSDALE ARTISTS SCHOOL Scottsdale Artists School, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1983 by a group of dedicated artists and community leaders who had a vision and desire to provide fundamental art training to those with an interest and passion for art. Utilizing six, fullyequipped studios, the School offers close to 300 diverse art programs throughout the year. The School s local and visiting instructors include many of the nation s leading artists, who are experienced and dedicated to their craft. The School offers a diverse schedule of programs including: workshops, weekly classes, one-day workshops, Youth and Teen programs, and demonstrations and lectures. The School is also involved in community outreach initiatives and works with: Scottsdale Unified School District, STARS (Scottsdale Training and Rehabilitation Services), Western Spirit: Scottsdale s Museum of the West and more.
