Dear Families, We are thrilled to share the results of our 2012 Pediatric Therapy Associates Patient Satisfaction Survey with you! The results from surveys completed by families seen in each of our offices, as well as by those served in the community are included. Each of the therapeutic services we provide are represented including occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-langauge pathology, developmental therapy, and music therapy. In addition, families that participate in our social groups, yoga classes, and summer camps also completed our survey. We are encouraged and motivated by the positive feedback we received again this year and we hope you will enjoy reviewing the results as well. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, The Pediatric Therapy Associates Therapy and Administrative Staff Please contact Cheryl Stephenson, M.S., CCC-SLP by phone at (919) or by , for more information or with questions regarding our 2012 surveys.

In what ways have Pediatric Therapy Associates services helped your child the most? In every way, they have always been the most supportive and encouraging bunch of people. They answer every question and are so helpful. We have been here for 3+ years now and I don't think we would ever change. They are very friendly, caring, and show patience. Sarah loves coming which makes her therapy very successful. By helping my child reach his potential, develop positive self esteem, and develop positive relationships. My child has been cared for as a whole person and has blossomed in all aspects including social behaviors. Thank you! He loves it here! Pushing him beyond his comfort zone has been helpful and good for him. The way the therapists use/play games to practice his goals is great! My child has been coming here for a while and I have seen a lot of improvements. I get a lot of advice about what to do at home which is what helps me most. Our daughter is doing so well and we attribute that to her amazing therapists at PTA. You all have seen us every day, multiple times a day for almost 3 years, we are so grateful! Gave my child the tools needed to improve his speech. He picked up on them and has been doing great! He looks forward to our appointments and does not mind practicing at home. He has gotten great instruction from his therapist and she communicated fantastically with us. Thank you! Making the therapy fun!!! My daughter has come a long way since she began at PTA at 15 months. She loves her therapists and they are always very patient and understanding. Therapy has been invaluable to our daughter's progress. Being globally delayed and homebound, having therapy in the home has improved her function in all areas.
Jack's speech has improved an amazing amount in the time he has worked with his therapist. He has been in speech since he was 2 and none of his previous therapists have even come close to how compassionate and effective she has been with him. I could not be happier! Words cannot even begin to describe the many ways both therapists have helped my son. His physical therapist is just amazing. She's helped us through every stage (balance, stepping over things, stairs, etc...). There are not enough great things to say about her!!! Our speech therapist is also amazing. She finds out what my needs are and what I'm most concerned about and helps me to help my son. I feel like I'm listened to AND heard! I feel truly blessed to have both therapists treating my son! My son's school work has improved dramatically. His speech has become so much clearer that he can now talk to adults and peers on his own without me having to interpret. He has become much more social as a result. Our therapist is great at listening to what is happening with our boys at home and at school and incorporates our experiences into her plan of therapy. I really feel we work as a team and in just over a year now, we have seen both our boys make great strides in their skills. We have also recommended PTA to friends :) Please include any additional comments or information you would like to share. You are doing a great job. My child loves to come here, and looks forward to it every week. All of the therapists we have been involved with have been amazing, professional, and knowledgeable. They are considerate, supportive, and full of encouragement. The services provided have been current and effective. PTA is awesome!
I appreciate the true concern shown toward my child's health and development. Pediatric Therapy Associates has been so supportive and kind to both our son and family. :) Everyone is great. Really love coming to the office. We see significant strides in our kids! Love the toys in the waiting room- thanks so much! Love how the appt. starts and ends on time- very helpful. Very kind and personal therapists Our speech therapist is always so welcoming and friendly- my daughter is always happy to see her. She's very patient and positive. My daughter has made a lot of progress while working with her. Our therapist really takes the time to be patient and listen to our concerns. She is creative and keeps my daughter's attention with new and fun activities. You are still the Charlie s Angels of therapy!! You guys are so good at what you do! Please don't forget that. You deserve a big, giant "we are great" sticker!! Our therapist is great! She really connects with my child. I would never consider switching therapists. She makes something very difficult seem fun and she motivates my child to succeed. I have been very impressed with our time here. The staff is so warm, friendly and helpful. I would just like to say how very wonderful our physical therapist has been. She is so loving, patient, and knows just how to push him for him to push himself. The relationship that they have developed is quite special and we feel very lucky to have her in our lives!! We are very pleased with these services. Thanks!
Our therapist has become a dear friend as well. We are forever grateful for her help, assistance and ongoing support/encouragement. I am more than thrilled with the experience our family has had with PTA. Everyone is very caring and helpful. The therapists have answered any questions I ve had and helped guide us as we chose a treatment plan for our younger son. I can't find the words to truly show how pleased we are with PTA and all that you have done for us. Our therapist has been a blessing. She gives me tools to practice with my daughter at home. Our daughter has made so much progress. I'm confident our story would not be so successful if it were not for our therapist aiding and assisting us. Our daughter looks forward to coming to play every week and I'm always so pleased to see the level of attentiveness and detail orientation she has (in general), but especially with my child. We wouldn t be comfortable with anyone else and she is definitely a blessing! We are so pleased! Thank you for all the hard work that goes into helping Hunter be more independent!! You are making his life better and this is no small thing. Our family truly appreciates all of you! I've been in a lot of medical offices and I have to say this is one of the most pleasant environments I've ever been in. Everyone is positive, friendly and upbeat. Thanks guys! Our therapists are both phenomenal, clearly put the child's interests first, and do a great job communicating with the parent. Our therapist is wonderful and my child adores her.
