A Solution for Alcoholism Group, Michelle S. Primary Purpose Group, Marti C. H.O.W. Group AA Sobriety Milestones: Jeff 22 years, Tom 3 years Minutes from last meeting: Approved all new members please give recording secretary contact information. Chair Report: Nothing new Treasury Report: Morgan states he has not spoken to Mike and needs to see if this is still going to work.
2 Intergroup Meeting Minutes continued... Western Slope News Page 2 of 6 H&I Report: Please report at groups that contributions have dropped dramatically and H&I is having to restrict literature and please donate if you can to the pink can. The rumor that H&I has to much money needs to smashed. General Service: Rocklin Had standard meeting $4000 in prudent reserve, don t have many expenses, is partially funding GSR s to go to assemblies, has most positions filled, no results on inventory yet, putting together budget for next year. Tele-Service: Charlie 13 calls for hotline operator, 5 calls for information, 1 call for directions, hasn t seen the ad in the Windfall or Democrat, always looking for volunteers especially in the outlying areas. Newsletter: Tom promotes meetings in newsletter, trying to get out before the 1 st of the month, always looking for stories and contributions to the newsletter. Schedules: Jeff behind on the printing person was on vacation, will bring any needed schedules to individual meetings if need be. Activities: Cindy Not present. 7 th Tradition collected: Collected Group Reports Cari Solution for Alcoholism Group 6:30pm Every night of the week, great meeting. Cari - WS Fellowship going great. Having alcoholthon for Thanksgiving from 12pm 12am. Suzanne Cameron Park Group speaker meeting going great, trusted servant rotation coming up need positions filled. Donna Sierra Step Sisters Wed 6pm Big Book Study, potluck and birthday night attendance is steady, all positions are filled. Marti H.O.W Group all over the map, trying to get format and service positions filled, business secretary, meeting secretaries needed. Butch Men at Work open format good turnout, spaghetti feed potluck on at 5:30pm meeting then Bday night, thankful for newsletter coverage of event. Kitty Women in Recovery Mon Fri noon12x12 Big Book attendance consistant, a lot of newcomers, very welcoming, Bday night is fun have cake and all positions are filled. Jeanine Cameron Park Womens different format each week out of the BB, 12x12 and Living Sober, Bday night last week of the month, fun inviting, loving lots of good support, spread the word. Rocklin West Slope Unity Group Speaker meeting went great. Michel Sunrise Attitude Adjustment good steady attendance, Big Book Daily Reflections, Friday speaker meeting, have positions filled. Tom High Flyers going well, well attended, just elected all new service positions, hosting alcoholthon for Thanksgiving. Michelle Primary Purpose Group new is only 6 months old, go line by line of the Big Book, have 5-7 people in attendance. Old Business: None New Business: West Slope Unity Group has received a proposal to move quarterly speaker meeting to 2 nd Saturday so as not to conflict with some of the groups Birthday nights. Any group within our service area wishing to affiliate with Intergroup may do so simply by observing the 12 Traditions and designating one of their group members as their Intergroup Representative. It s good practice to also name a second person as alternate. It s suggested that AA members be elected who show a desire to be of service and are willing to carry out their obligation to the best of their ability in the spirit of unity and cooperation. What is the deadline for newsletter submissions? The deadline will vary from month to month depending on holidays and other factors. If you your story to d22news@gmail.com by the 15th of the month, it will usually be in time for the next month's issue. We will make every effort to include all submissions no matter when submitted.
