One of the most common struggles returning veterans face is finding and keeping a job. The Veterans Treatment Docket, coordinated by United Way, helps get veterans back on their feet and ready to re-enter the workforce. United Way volunteer harvesting events held at various farms and gardens throughout the region have resulted in almost five million pounds of food each year for our neighbors in need.
