2 The Georgia Arborist Association WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO The Georgia Arborist Association (GAA) membership includes arboricultural and tree care professionals as well as representatives of regional, national and international organizations who are all interested in trees and arboriculture. At events and meetings, GAA members have important opportunities to make connections with industry peers and encourage best practices in the field. ABOUT OUR MEMBERS GAA membership includes over 350 arborists and tree care professionals, and 61 tree companies. 4 2019 Workshops and Meetings Sponsorship Throughout the year, Georgia Arborist Association (GAA) members gather in meetings and workshops to learn, network, and exchange knowledge and best practices. GAA provides a limited number of businesses an opportunity to show their support for these workshops and meetings through sponsorships. In return, companies are given an opportunity to be a part of these events to share about their products and services while receiving branding and recognition. 5 2019 Events, Awards, and Socials Sponsorship The Georgia Arborist Association organizes special opportunities for members to gather for colleague recognition, social activities, and ways to give back to the community year round. Businesses can be part of these events and engagements though sponsorships and vendor display. Financial support from companies through sponsorships helps the GAA provide these programs to our members, and in exchange business can be part of these inspirational events. 21st ANNUAL GAA TREE CLIMBING COMPETITION March WINTERVILLE, GEORGIA More than 200 climbing enthusiasts, spectators and arborists gather to witness this annual exciting competition of 35 nationally-recognized professional climbers. Companies can participate as sponsors and as vendor exhibitors to showcase support and display products, solutions and services. The Awards Banquet Dinner closes out a spirited weekend. Businesses are invited to help fund the events, which feature catered or home cooked meals, games and activities, and refreshments. $500 sponsorship (limited to 2 companies) - Outdoor exhibit, logo visibility on banner and announcements SALUTING BRANCHES Saluting Branches is a non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing and honoring American veterans by helping to make their final resting places safe and beautiful environments for all who visit. One day each year, arborists around the country together donate more than 8,000 hours of tree care services at veterans cemeteries. The GAA coordinates this September activity in Georgia. Businesses support the day's events by sponsoring lunch for volunteers. $250 sponsorship (limited to 2 companies) - Lunch Sponsor, banner, visibility on s and social media announcements.
