1 Gratitude Report FISCAL YEAR 2018

2 Dear Friends of PPMM, When I was visiting one of our health centers recently, I was reminded yet again about why we do this work and why I find it so necessary and inspiring. I saw our staff giving excellent, compassionate care to women who don t make enough money to afford reliable birth control, whose health insurance doesn t cover cancer-screenings or well-woman exams or who are afraid, abused and need a safe haven. Seeing just how much these patients rely on PPMM is what keeps me going despite the relentless political attacks on our services by those in Washington who want to drag access to essential reproductive health care back to a time when women were literally dying without it. That includes my own grandmothers, who died far too young because they couldn t get the preventive reproductive health services they needed. But there s something else that keeps me going as well: Knowing that PPMM can count on people like you. This year, many thousands of donors and volunteers made our mission their mission. You made it possible for us to deliver services, ranging from cutting-edge ultrasounds and longacting reversible contraceptives (LARCs) to on-site behavioral health services and education programs that are in high demand in our local school districts. I am so grateful for your commitment to the communities we serve. We couldn t do this work without you by our side. Best, Stacy Cross President and CEO

I m so thankful and grateful for what they do and how they advocate for our health. Men, women, everyone is welcome to come and get services. Thank you so much from my family and me. We appreciate it. Crystal, Patient, Sacramento, CA * Wellness, contraception, pregnancy, STI testing/treatment and cancer screening visits. ** Pediatric and adult primary care. Prenatal care is <1%.

The educators have such a great way to really break down contraceptive use, the myths around contraception, the effectiveness, and the ability to answer all of the students questions and curiosities. It s such a wonderful opportunity to have this outreach and partnership. Natasha Joplin, B.S., M.S., Human Sexuality Instructor at DeAnza College, Cupertino, CA
