3 Welcome to our home A warm welcome to Agnes Court. We are located near the centre of Banbury, a historic market town on the river Cherwell in Oxfordshire. You will find our home has a cheerful and friendly atmosphere with many of our residents choosing to take part in activities and trips. You re very welcome to visit us to see Agnes Court for yourself. Our residents make sure there is always something going on! The assistive technology helps us to be more independent by opening and closing our own doors, windows and curtains. Stephen Argyle, resident

4 The right support The support we offer at Agnes Court is based on what our residents tell us they want. We will always ask what you would like to do or achieve. You can trust us to know what we are doing. As a charity we have been providing support to people for over 60 years and we now work at over 200 sites in the UK. Our friendly team are fully trained to provide 24 hour care and support.

5 Great facilities Agnes Court is well equipped and comfortable - somewhere you can relax and feel at home. Our facilities include: an activities room a physiotherapy room an IT room a lounge area a large well maintained garden We have a domestic team who make sure our home is thoroughly cleaned every day. Your room We have 24 single bedrooms, all of which have en-suite facilities. All rooms have overhead hoists and can be adapted to your individual needs. You are very welcome to fully furnish your room or simply bring personal items. Our manager will be happy to discuss furnishing options with you. Dining choices At Agnes Court we make sure mealtimes can be enjoyed by everyone. We offer different meal options that are designed to suit you. Our menus are planned by our residents and staff - you are welcome to contribute suggestions and ideas. Tell us about your favourite dish!

6 It is a pleasure to come to work and be part of a team with such high standards of care. Lorraine Rolfe, staff member Enjoy activities At Agnes Court you ll have the chance to enjoy all sorts of activities we aim to make sure there is something for everyone, whether you want to socialise, exercise or learn new skills. Our residents have recently enjoyed gardening, cooking, bowling and karaoke. Our home is close to the town centre with its many amenities, including pubs, restaurants, sports facilities, a cinema and the Castle Quay shopping centre. Guests always welcome We welcome visitors at any time - for a chat, a cup of tea or a meal. If your guests would like to stay we are happy to arrange accommodation.

7 A friendly team All our staff and volunteers are screened by the Disclosure and Barring Service before they start work with us. We also make sure new members of our team share our values and are reliable and trustworthy. At Agnes Court our team includes men and women of different ages. Our service manager, Sue, is supported by experienced team leaders. Everyone receives frequent training to make sure we always provide you with the highest quality service. Our volunteers Our residents also enjoy the support of a fantastic team of trained volunteers. Once you move in we will regularly get in touch with you to check you re happy with how we support you. They help in so many ways - from assisting with activities and providing transport to simply being there for a chat.
