Banstead Road A welcoming home, offering transitional support for adults with mild to moderate learning disability and mild challenging needs.
Welcome to our home A warm welcome to Banstead Road. We are located in a quiet residential area in Ewell, and overlook expansive playing fields. Banstead Road is an ideal home environment for people who are thinking of moving on or where transitional care would benefit. At Banstead Road we support people who wish to live as independently as possible, irrespective of the level of care and support they require. We provide a home where people can live comfortably and safely, learning new skills and building confidence. The home is always clean and tidy, and when i visit to collect my brother for the weekend, all staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. Joe, brother of a resident
Transitional support Our support packages are based around each individuals need; encompassing all aspects of daily living. Including personal care, help with cleaning and cooking, medical appointments, medication, financial assistance, road safety awareness, gaining employment developing skills through goal plans, building social networks and orientation to name a few. We aim to support our residents to be independent and get the most out of life, in preparation for supported living or moving into the local community. Providing support and gradually reducing that support as individual confidence is increased and living skills are strengthened. The aim of our home is to provide an environment with individually tailored support, where the next step is either supported living or moving into the local community.
The right support On arrival you are supported to create your own person-centred, support and goal plans. These are regularly monitored and reviewed to ensure goals are successful and achievable. We aim to support people at Banstead Road to become more confident about directing their own choices. The support we offer at Banstead Road is based on what our residents tell us they want. We will always ask what you would like to do or achieve. You can trust us to know what we are doing. As a charity we have been providing support to people for over 60 years and we now work at over 200 sites in the UK. Our friendly team are fully trained to provide 24 hour care and support.
Great facilities Banstead Road is well equipped and comfortable - somewhere you can relax and feel at home. Our facilities include: a kitchen dining room a large lounge a courtyard Dining choices At Banstead Road we make sure mealtimes can be enjoyed by everyone. You are very welcome to fully furnish your room or simply bring personal items. Our manager will be happy to discuss furnishing options with you.

We also make sure new members of our team share our values and are reliable and trustworthy. At Banstead Road our team includes men and women of different ages. Our service manager, Timon, is supported by experienced team leaders. Everyone receives frequent training to make sure we always provide you with the highest quality service. Once you move in we will regularly get in touch with you to check you re happy with how we support you. Our volunteers Our residents also enjoy the support of a fantastic team of trained volunteers. They help in so many ways - from assisting with activities and providing transport to simply being there for a chat. The whole impression you get from visiing this home is cheerful and positive.
