Oleika Shrine Temple & Kentucky Vulcan Riders Association We represent the Oleika Shrine Temple and the Kentucky Vulcan Riders, both non-profit organizations based in Lexington, KY.

This event will be held on Saturday, June 9th, 2018 at the Oleika Shrine Temple, 326 Southland Dr. Lexington, KY.

3 Oleika Shrine Temple & Kentucky Vulcan Riders Association We represent the Oleika Shrine Temple and the Kentucky Vulcan Riders, both non-profit organizations based in Lexington, KY. Each June we organize the Ride for the Kids charity event to benefit the Shriners Hospital for Children in Lexington. This event will be held on Saturday, June 9th, 2018 at the Oleika Shrine Temple, 326 Southland Dr. Lexington, KY. The Lexington hospital is part of a national network of Shriners Hospitals, serving the needs of children across the country. The hospital is supported by donations, and no child is ever turned away for lack of ability to pay. Over the past 6 years, Ride for the Kids has raised over $15,000 to benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Our event includes a police-escorted motorcycle ride through some of the best horse country in central Kentucky, raffle items, silent auction, live music and lunch for the participants. 100% of the funds raised during the event go directly to the hospital; we do not use any of the funds to offset our expenses. Our primary sponsor is Gateway Cycles, in Mt. Sterling, KY and each year we solicit funds from other local businesses and individuals to either assist us in covering event costs, donate directly to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or donate merchandise for the raffles and silent auctions. We hope that you will be able to join us in support of this cause, either through a sponsorship donation, a direct donation to the Hospital or merchandise for the raffle and silent auctions items. 5 7 th Annual Ride for the Kids June 9, 2018 Event Sponsorship Opportunities Thank you for your consideration of sponsoring the 7 th annual Ride for the Kids, benefiting the Shriners Hospitals for Children. The Hospital provides top-notch care for children with various chronic medical conditions and injuries, and care is always provided, regardless of the family s ability to pay. The Oleika Shrine Temple and the Kentucky Vulcan Riders Association are proud to organize this event alongside our event sponsors, including Gateway Cycles in Mount Sterling. The event would still not be possible without additional critical support from organizations and individuals like yourself. So again, thank you for your consideration, and hopeful support. Our goal each year is to fully cover the event s handful of major expenses through donations and sponsorships, so that all proceeds raised on the day of the event (motorcycle ride registrations, silent auction proceeds, raffle ticket sales and event shirt sales) can be donated 100% to the Hospital. Below are the expense items we seek sponsorship for each year, including an estimate of the total expenditure. Any donation toward these expenses, full or partial, is greatly appreciated. ITEM ESTIMATED AMOUNT Lunch for participants (included with event registration) $1,250 Police escort for charity motorcycle ride $1,000 Event T-shirts to be sold, with proceeds benefiting the Hospital $1,000 In return for our sponsors gracious support, we provide recognition whenever possible before, during and after the event as outlined below: 1. Sponsor name / logo featured on event t-shirts that will be sold during the event. 2. Sponsor name / logo featured on the Sponsor Board during the event. 3. Sponsor name / logo featured again on the Sponsor Board during ceremonial check presentation to the Hospital in the weeks following the event. 4. Sponsor s provided banner will be displayed during the event (optional). Banners will be moved throughout the day to maximize visibility based on the activities occurring at different times. 5. Sponsor name / logo with thank you message shown on looping video screen during lunch, entertainment and silent auctions / raffles. 6. Verbal thank you and recognition of each sponsor over the PA system during pre-ride announcements, throughout lunch and the live entertainment, during the silent auction / raffles and any other appropriate opportunities when announcements are made. 7. Recognition with sponsor name / logo on the Kentucky Vulcan Riders / Ride for the Kids webpage and Facebook pages. 8. Distribution of any sponsor-branded give-away items that you may wish to provide (optional). 9. We are happy to consider any other requests or suggestions for sponsor recognition. 6 7 th Annual Ride for the Kids June 9, 2018 Sponsorship Agreement DATE: On the date immediately above, the undersigned party (Sponsor) has agreed to provide monetary sponsorship support as outlined below (the Sponsorship) to the Ride for the Kids, organized by the Oleika Shrine Temple and the Kentucky Vulcan Riders Association, and occurring on June 9, 2018 (the Event). The Sponsor is represented by the undersigned individual, who warrants that they have all necessary authorizations and powers to commit the Sponsor to said Sponsorship. The Event will make all possible good faith efforts to provide the Sponsor recognition outlined in the Event Sponsorship Opportunities on the reverse side of this page. NOTE: The Event will be held rain or shine. The Event makes no representations or guarantees as to the number of attendees at the Event or the associated Sponsor exposure from said attendance. Payments via check for the Sponsorship may be made payable to the Kentucky Vulcan Riders Association.
