Liz Fulcher: Hi, everyone, it s Liz Fulcher here with you again for another episode of the Aromatic Wisdom Podcast. I m your host for the show. This week s a special one I m going to get right to it. I m actually going to get right to talking about it because it s about 40 minutes and you re not going to want to miss a second of it. It s really valuable to you as an Aromatherapy practitioner or any kind of practitioner out there. I invited my friend, Annie Mascelli, to come and chat with us. She s an extraordinary person and one of my best friends in the world. Annie Mascelli has a website called YourSpiritedLife.com. She is a writer, she is a life coach, and an extraordinary Holistic Life Coaching Instructor. As a holistic life

coaching instructor, she helps her students have deeper, more meaningful conversations with their clients which will ultimately give us as therapists better and more effective consultations. This is why I wanted you to meet her because she has a lot to share about how we can effectively be--i ve got air quotes here--be with our aroma therapy clients. Before I get to the interview, I just want to give you her biography a little bit in brief. The biography is also available for you to read in the show notes which you ll find at AromaticWisdomInstitute.com/026 and on her website, YourSpiritedLife.com. Here s a little bit about Annie Mascelli. Annie has created a unique, holistic and life affirming coaching methodology. She developed this through extensive study, training, and spiritual practice. Annie holds a certificate in spiritual direction and contemplative prayer from Oasis Ministries for Spiritual Direction, a certificate in positive psychology from the Holding Institute. Annie is a graduate of Binghamton University, the Florida School of Massage, and she s a certified Kripalu Yoga teacher. She s been working with clients and students for over 25 years. She was the founder and director of the Mt. Nittany Institute of Natural Health in State College, Pennsylvania which is where I met her. She s also the Founding Director of the New York Kripalu Center in New York City. How cool is that? If you d like to read more in depth about Annie, where she s studied, what she s done, and some of the incredible programs that she s created, please check out her website, MySpiritedLife.com Okay, so I wanted to tell you why I invited Annie to be on the podcast today. Of course everything I talk about on this program, everything that I share with you is for you. I want you to benefit. I want you to learn and grow. That s why I m always asking, please give me your questions. What would you like me to talk about? I know as an instructor of a certification program, one of the areas that my students really would like to learn more is when they sit down with a client and have a consultation, how they can better engage with that client, how they can make the consultations smoother, easier, and overall more effective. This skill that Annie teaches is actually deeply important to our work as aroma therapists. It s one that s often overlooked in our education, actually what Annie teaches in her work as a life coaching training instructor it s fundamental to the success of any holistic health practice. If you re a massage therapist, nutritionist, acupuncture, etc. this episode is going to be for all of you. Why do I think this is important? We all need to learn the art of how to talk to our clients and, more importantly, how to listen to them. That s a fundamental skill that a lot of practitioners don t have. We may know all about Aromatherapy, essential oils, our carriers, our dilutions, and our safety, but when it comes down to it we are working with human beings. If we don t learn how to speak with them and

how to listen to them all that other stuff is meaningless. I like to think that we all have a specialized tool kit that we bring when we meet our clients, so naturally for us aroma therapists that tool kit should include a good, solid education and the use of essential oils, the practice of Aromatherapy. Your tool kit should also contain expertise in other areas. Everyone has their own gifts: body work, energy work, herbs, and crystals, whatever your specializations are. Guess what? None of them are going to help if your client can t tell you what s going on with them It s easy when it s a physical booboo. If someone comes to us with a sprained ankle it s pretty straightforward. We can see the swelling and bruising. It s easy for them to communicate what happened and what hurts. They say I feel off a curb, I turned my ankle and how it hurts here and here and we know what to do. Clients will also come to us with issues that are not easy to see. We can t see what the deeper pain is, what s making them truly uncomfortable. I m talking common issues. Anyone out there who works with clients knows you see a lot of anxiety, depression, and insomnia. Those are not easy to communicate why they re having those issues. Even physical pains like headache and fibromyalgia, there can be a much deeper reason why your client is suffering from these conditions. It s really important that in this aroma therapists or practitioner s tool kit we add the ability to help them tell us more so we can get to the heart of the issue faster and then use those other tools like oils to help them heal. I just love this topic so much, I ve got to leave something for Annie to say. I just want to tell you a little bit about my relationship with Annie. I ve known her since 1997 when I studied massage therapy at her school, the Mt. Nittany Institute of Natural Health. Not only did I learn to become an accomplished Massage Therapist, but when Annie learned about my background as an Aromatherapist she asked me to join the faculty as Director of Aromatherapy Studies. Honestly, everyone, that just changed my life. It was Annie who gave me my first professional teaching opportunity that eventually lead to my having my own school. I can tell you I was terrified the first time I had to teach. Annie sat with me and she coached me, she asked me questions, she listened to my fears, and she found a way to make me understand that my fear was about not being good enough for these students. She said things 17 years ago - I can t remember all of the details - but I can remember Annie said things to me that made me understand that I have value to bring to the classroom. She didn t give me tools like you say this and then you say this, you use this handout and you use I already knew all that stuff. What I needed to hear was that the students needed me and that I really had something to give them. That s the value that one gets from life coaching. Fast forward now to 2006 when I took her class on Holistic Life Coaching Training and that was another big shift. It really changed how I worked with my massage clients, with my Aromatherapy clients, ultimately with my

students, and even my family. We talk about that, actually, in the interview. If I would just shut up and let you listen you ll know. I just want to say it s easy for a practitioner to feel helpless when dealing with someone who has a hard time expressing themselves. We know our trade, we know our techniques, but before we even take that step we need to learn how to talk to and listen to our clients. This is a really important topic and it s vital to your success as practitioners. That is why I wanted Annie to come and share with us. I ve kept you waiting long enough. I know you re going to love Annie and you re going to love what she has to share with you. Remember all of the things that we talk about in this interview, any links, any references, you will find them in the show notes at AromaticWisdomInstitute.com/026. Okay, here it is. Enjoy the interview THE INTERVIEW BEGINS HERE Liz Fulcher: Okay, so here I am with my dear friend, Annie Mascelli. I am so excited, Annie, to be talking with you today. Annie Mascelli: I am too Liz Fulcher: I mean, talk about coming full circle Annie Mascelli: Can I just say before we get into this that it s so beautiful to be talking with you and to have been together on this journey of professional growth and the evolution of our careers and be supporting each other for so, so many years. You are my podcast guru, you re amazing on your podcast and I m really, really honored to be here. Thank you very much. Liz Fulcher: Oh my gosh, you re so welcome. Thank you for being here. We have really done a lot of brainstorming, coaching, crying, laughing, and we ve seen it all through the--what is it--15? No, I think it s 18 years. Annie Mascelli: Oh my gosh, wow. Some of the conversations we ve been having lately about this intersection between your certification program, your Aromatherapy Certification Program, and my Life Coaching Certification Program have been just so interesting. I know I felt compelled to say let s talk about it with everyone. Where should we start?

Liz Fulcher: Okay, my audience knows that I love definitions. I always like to start right at the beginning. Annie Mascelli: (laughing) Okay. Liz Fulcher: Just let my audience know, what is Life Coaching? Annie Mascelli: Yes, Life Coaching. Great question I can tell you what I think Life Coaching is. I ve developed my own coaching model and it s a very holistic model which I m sure your audience will really resonate with. We want to be looking at every area of a person s life when we re talking to them. Coaching is really a form of counseling. What makes it unique and special I think is that it s very presence centered. We work with people with what s going on today, what s going on right now in your life? Rather than a model of looking back, let s say, working out childhood issues, etc. which is supremely valuable and can work in conjunction with life coaching; we re going to address in a coaching session areas of concern or I like to call it areas of stuckness. Again, we can do that in any area of life. When people say to me you re a life coach, what do you do? The simple, short answer I give them is I help people get unstuck. I help them to connect with the vision of how they want their life to be in whatever area of their life we re talking about. I give them tools to get from where they are now to where they want to be. Liz Fulcher: Beautiful. I have been a client of yours in the past, so I can tell you it is very effective, powerful, fast work. I love it. Annie Mascelli: Yes. Yes. I think the present centeredness and the tools, when you bring someone really deep into what the core of their issue is, the solution if you will, the path reveals itself very, very clearly. I think that another really important thing about coaching is that it s all about empowering the client. You and I have talked about how similar that is to working with people with this beautiful tool of aroma therapy. We re giving people a tool that they can then use on their own so that it s not that they have to constantly come back to their coach for every move they make in life. With life coaching training, you then work with people and they own the skills that they re learning. They become more self-responsible and more self-empowered to create the life that they want. Liz Fulcher: Absolutely. My audience are primarily Aromatherapists. Annie Mascelli: Yes.

Liz Fulcher: I have a lot of listeners who are also massage therapists, energy workers, nurses, I have a lot of people in the health and wellness industry who listen. How would this skill of being a Life Coach How would it help them? Annie Mascelli: Why would they want to add that? Right. That s such a great question and I just want to say that one of the things I ve seen over the years and I ve been teaching life coaching for about 15 years. One of the things that I ve seen for people is that life coaching, learning to structure a session, learning the skills and tools of working with people and having that powerful conversation that becomes the structure that holds everything that they do. Whether it s nutrition or aroma therapy, all of the tools they have in their bag life coaching training can become the umbrella and the structure that they need. I like to call it the bowl that holds all of the different tools. Even as you add more tools, whether it s yoga teacher training, massage therapy, etc., you have this structured way of having these powerful conversations with people that help them move forward in their life. The real specifics of that and why somebody might train in life coaching, I think at the heart of it is we re learning to ask questions that get to the heart of the matter. Often times what I hear from people in any kind of one-on-one session that they re doing is that the client just goes on and on and talks and talks and talks. How do I help people get to the heart of the matter? How do I help them get to the absolute deepest issue? Liz Fulcher: Instead of storytelling basically. Annie Mascelli: Exactly, exactly. In life coach training, part of what we learn is what I call deep listening skills. What that means is it s listening to what is meant, what s underneath what s being said, what s in between the words and in between the lines and naming that for the client in a loving and nurturing way so that they can have this ah-ha moment which really is just us reflecting back what their deepest truth is. We re helping the clients to communicate with us because the more we understand what s really going on, the better and clearer the tools we can apply. I m imagining that that would really benefit aroma therapists. Liz Fulcher: Oh my gosh, absolutely. Aromatherapists want to help people, they want to help people be more whole and more healthy with their lives. It s another powerful skill that they can put in their toolbox, not just with your essential oils but also with getting to the crux of how do I know which essential oils to us? People will share their deepest stuff and it will save an awful lot of time in getting to the point so they get the right blend right away. Annie Mascelli: They get to the right blend. Exactly, exactly. Yes. Then I think at that place where the client has gone deep, it s like that s the longing. This is my deepest need, my concern. Then the

aroma therapist is meeting that deepest need, so the client is going to have a really powerful experience with that blend. Liz Fulcher: It s so much more than just mixing some oils for a person. It is really so, so much more powerful. Annie Mascelli: Right. It s not just a generic thing. This person is suffering from anxiety or depression or they re stressed or whatever. That s what I m hearing you say. Liz Fulcher: Absolutely, yes. You re correct. Annie Mascelli: That s what makes a powerful consultation is really personalizing. Liz Fulcher: Did you just mirror? That s what I heard you say [crosstalk 0:17:09]. That was a technique I learned. Annie Mascelli: I did. Exactly, exactly. Liz Fulcher: That mirroring, that was something that I learned when I did the training with you, Annie. Annie Mascelli: I m curious, Liz, tell me how taking the life coach training that you did with me; how did that affect you personally and professionally? Liz Fulcher: I don t think we have enough time in the podcast to share all of the benefits I got out of that. I mean that. I did the training in 2006 and where do I begin? Okay, it benefited me both personally and professionally. Professionally as both an aroma therapist and a massage therapist it really shifted how I engaged with my clients. Annie Mascelli: Yes. Liz Fulcher: It gave me new listening tools, mirroring was one of them. A lot of tools to sit with them, how not to constantly be nodding and interrupting. Just some very specific tools on how to be with a client. I got tools on what sort of better questions to ask and how to watch for certain things from the client that may be indications of something else. Annie Mascelli: I want to just jump in here for a second. The hit I m getting off of what you re saying is that--and I m wondering if this is true. It helped you relax in the session.

Liz Fulcher: Absolutely, I had more confidence because now I knew I ve got some very specific tools to work with this client. I don t have to wing it. Annie Mascelli: Right, I don t have to be constantly thinking about what I m going to say next or where s the session going because I ve got my structure. Whatever happens, whatever comes up within the structure I can handle it. Liz Fulcher: That s exactly, exactly how it felt. The tools that I gained in the life coach training program not only helped me professionally, but personally. Suddenly I had skills that I could use just to communicate with my children and with my husband where there s a lot of emotion. It s really easy to get your own stuff mixed up with their stuff when it s your people, your family, and your friends. Annie Mascelli: Absolutely, absolutely. Liz Fulcher: It gave me great skills for listening, responding, and how not to be so reactive in those cases. It benefited me many, many times and even now ten years later I m still using everything I learned. Now as an Educator I use a lot of the skills in the classroom with my students. Annie Mascelli: Yes, yes. Absolutely, absolutely. Wow, that s so gratifying to hear. I think that also as a massage therapist, I started out in massage therapy as well and my ah-ha moment why I became a life coach and did all of these trainings to become a life coach is because people were bringing problems, questions, challenges, and issues to me. I didn t feel like I had enough tools in my tool bag to talk with people about that. I m just saying that because I think we re really talking about beyond the aroma therapy consultation, whether it s yoga classes or one-on-one sessions of yoga, massage therapy, or nutrition. We can all benefit from learning these communication skills really and the structure of these sessions to help get at the deeper issues and move people forward so that they re enjoying their lives more, having better relationships, and better relationship at their job, their kids, etc. Liz Fulcher: I have an Aromatherapy Certification Program that I offer at my school. Primarily the program is how to be the best Aromatherapist, blend chemically and all of that stuff, but there s also in one of the last modules we do talk about business and we learn how to do a consultation. In fact I m sure all professional Aromatherapy schools do offer how to do a consultation in their program. In my Program they re given a four page intake form. They practice with each other and they practice with people outside as a part of their homework. They have to sit and go through these questions, do an intake, and then make a blend based on what conversations they re having with the other student or the case studies. Annie Mascelli: That s a fantastic foundation.

Liz Fulcher: It truly is. That s a great form and there are a lot of questions that get answered. What will people gain beyond a basic health intake form by taking a life coaching training? In other words, what would the training offer my students beyond that basic intake form? Annie Mascelli: Right. I m picturing an intake form and then I m picturing this whole world around the intake form because people bring all kinds of stuff that s not asked on an intake form like that. They bring in things that they re not even conscious of that they re bringing in: the core of their issue, their feelings about it, etc. We learn many, many things about structuring a session in the Life Coach Training, number one to create a safe space so that people can, starting with a four page form like that, they can answer the truth. They can feel safe. They can feel confident and comfortable with the therapist. We create and open and nurturing environment. We also learn in Life Coach Training how to guide the process that the client is going through because they are going through a process. They re going through a process of change and in order to change they need to grow. I like to say that people that come to me for life coaching are healing, learning, and growing. That is a process that needs to be managed if you will. We want to manage people s progress and we want to also manage their accountability. If we give them that blend and they don t go home and use it, there are ways to connect the client to the choice that you re making together. I m going to imagine that, even though someone is coming to an aroma therapist or whoever is listening, they re paying and they re not necessarily going to do what they ve decided to do in the session. If they could, without certain kinds of support and powerful conversation, they wouldn t have needed to come in the first place. Liz Fulcher: That s exactly right. Annie Mascelli: In Life Coach Training, we learn to teach our clients to connect to the vision that they want to achieve, to connect, understand, and really believe that the tool that they are choosing is the tool to get them there. This is why it s so empowering because, while the session is directed by the coach, it s led by the client. It s the client s priority. It s what s important to the client. It s their vision. We are just offering tools to help them get there. Liz Fulcher: Right. Now, Annie, people who are doing the coaching you re giving them tools, are you talking about tools in the forms of language to use, in the forms of a workbook? Annie Mascelli: Yes, all of the above. There s homework that I can give to people as a coach. There s a set of tools that--i ll give you a couple of quick examples if I could. Liz Fulcher: Sure.

Annie Mascelli: There s a whole set of tools I teach in my Holistic Life Coaching Training for dealing with anxiety. I teach people to rate their anxiety on a scale from one to ten and then there are tools that I give for if your number is one to three use these tools, four to six use these tools, and seven to ten you use these tools. I can imagine Aromatherapy fitting into that kind of work. Liz Fulcher: Oh my word, yes Absolutely. Annie Mascelli: I m empowering the client. The client comes and says I m suffering from anxiety. I want to empower them in the moment, depending on the level of anxiety they re rating, again another empowering tool. They re being able to step away from the anxiety, to rate it in that moment. That right then and there is just creating-- Liz Fulcher: Empowerment Annie Mascelli: Yes, I m sorry to keep using that word. Liz Fulcher: No, but it s--. Annie Mascelli: That s exactly what it is, it s creating such empowerment. Then the other example I want to give is that I teach specific tools for helping people process their emotions. Liz Fulcher: Excellent because that can be a scary thing, I think, for the person on the end who s doing the coaching. Annie Mascelli: Absolutely. It can absolutely be, so I teach my students to be a safe container and to guide the person not only to experience what they re feeling in that moment of the session but then to take that tool and go home and be able to experience their emotions more deeply. This is where people get stuck is they re thinking about what they re feeling, they re not actually experiencing their feelings so there s no possibility to move through. That s why they keep feeling the same feelings over and over again because they haven t been able to walk through that tunnel of that feeling and come out the other side so I teach specific tools for that. I just want to say that one of my trainings, it s at the heart of the coaching model that I teach, is empowerment facilitation. It s really at the core of what we re teaching in the Program is empowering the client. That makes being the coach, that means you don t have to fix anything. You don t have to take responsibility for people s issues. You don t have to carry that around. It makes coaching people, consulting with people, it makes it light. It makes it energizing and it makes it heart opening and really fulfilling rather than it being the cause for fear, stress, or burn out. We talk in the Program

about energetic boundaries and I know you teach energetics of essential oils. That just dove tails so beautifully with each other. Liz Fulcher: It really does. Annie Mascelli: It is important. We have to take care of ourselves as consultants, as counselors, as coaches or we can t continue to do the work. Liz Fulcher: That s exactly right, we get depleted. Annie Mascelli: Exactly, exactly. Liz Fulcher: Everything you re saying it s like I remember that, I ve learned that, I ve practiced that, I know that. Annie Mascelli: That s great. Liz Fulcher: This is fabulous. Annie? Annie Mascelli: Yeah? Liz Fulcher: What will people gain by taking the Holistic Life Coaching Training? Annie Mascelli: Okay, great. I ll say these are not in any particular order, but let me just say that the first thing that comes to my mind is they ll gain tools and skills to get the most accurate and deep understanding of client issues. They ll get the tools to be able to sort through everything that a client brings when they walk into the session and get right to the heart of the matter. That means getting to the deepest belief that the client has that s causing the emotions, the behaviors, the issues, and the stuckness that they re bringing. The student will get the skills to really hear what s at the heart of the matter for the client so that the tools they can apply, in this case we re talking about aroma therapy, that the blend that they create is the most powerful and the most personal. Of course they ll get how to structure a session, how to deal with whatever comes up. Because my Program is holistically oriented, it has a holistic perspective, they can help people no matter what area of their life they come to, they come with issues in. I think that all of that brings professional confidence. I know you spoke to that when you talked earlier about how the training helped you.

Liz Fulcher: Yeah, because now I had tools and also I didn t feel alone. I knew that I had met other people. I had you. I had connections. I had a network. All of a sudden it was like I ve got these tools and I know what to do, but if I get stuck I can always go back to Annie or somebody else in the Program to get questions answered. Annie Mascelli: Exactly because then--we re the same in this way--once somebody comes into a program of ours, they re in our sole care forever. Liz Fulcher: You bet. Annie Mascelli: They can come back and I do supervision with graduates. We talk through what happened in a session and that sort of thing. Of course they re similar to what you do in your Program, there s practicing of the tools and skills, etc. Lastly I want to say, we touched on this also, but I hear this from graduates over and over and over that the personal growth that happens when you go through a life coaching training program is just exponential growth. You become more of your best version of yourself. You leave behind the things that are keeping you stuck and you re able to have better relationships and go for your dreams. Fear, anxiety, anger, and all of those things that keep us held down and keep us stuck, emotions that we haven t been able to digest and process are released. We re much freer as people. Liz Fulcher: Absolutely. Annie, when I did the Program in 2006 part of what I learned was having the opportunity to look at my own stuff. Annie Mascelli: Yes. Liz Fulcher: To get through that before I can then move on to help other people. Annie Mascelli: Absolutely. We walk the talk, so every tool that you re going to learn to use with clients you apply to yourself and to your own life. You get over the course of the Program to look at every area of your life and gain new awareness, deepen your acceptance of yourself. One of my core tenets in working with people throughout my career in health and wellness has been can I help someone love themselves a little bit more? Liz Fulcher: We could all use more self-love. Annie Mascelli: Sure, sure. I think any of us in health and wellness have that tender, compassionate heart at our core.

Liz Fulcher: Yes. Annie Mascelli: No matter what tools we re using whether it s massage, aroma therapy, or coaching. That s definitely brought in to the Program in a powerful way. I realize we re talking about this Program and I just want to say just for nuts and bolts that the course that you took was when I owned an actual school, a brick and mortar school. Liz Fulcher: That s right. Annie Mascelli: Now I teach that Program online so that everyone, in fact the upcoming training I ve got already a woman from Sweden in the Program, someone from Portland, Oregon in the Program. We re going international this year, so I m very excited about that [crosstalk 0:32:53]. I absolutely love technology. To be able to all be in the same room together, but not all be in the same room together is going to be really fantastic. The lessons are delivered online and then there s time that we get together as a group over the phone and also live over one of these fabulous ways of all being in the same room together and seeing each other s faces. I didn t want people to think because I live about an hour from you in central Pennsylvania, but you can live anywhere. Of course there are lots and lots of life coach training programs. Liz Fulcher: None like yours though, honey. I m sorry. There s just nothing like what you offer. Annie Mascelli: Thank you. Liz Fulcher: I was going to say when the Mt. Nittany Institute closed, the brick and mortar school closed, because you were moving into a new area of your life we still mourn it. That was in 2010 and yet there are still such good, tight friendships of people who were affiliated with the School. Annie Mascelli: Absolutely. Liz Fulcher: It demonstrates the power of who you are and what you create around you and the kind of connections you create. Annie Mascelli: Thank you so much. Liz Fulcher: You re so welcome. Annie Mascelli: That s really sweet. Mt. Nittany was a very special place. Liz Fulcher: It was.

Annie Mascelli: I know you re launching some online trainings. Liz Fulcher: I am. Annie Mascelli: The power of that to be able to reach people all over the world has been super exciting for me. With a phone and a computer we can reach more and more people. Isn t that what we re all about is helping more people heal and grow and sharing these tools as much as possible? Right now I want to share this tool of life coaching with as many people as I can because it s been so powerful in people s lives. Liz Fulcher: That s a great place to make a segway here, Annie. Annie Mascelli: Okay. Liz Fulcher: I can just see out there people are all jazzed, taking notes, nodding their heads. They re all excited, I want to learn more, I want to learn more. Annie Mascelli: Great. Liz Fulcher: Guess what, I m talking to the listeners now. Annie and I knew that you would be jazzed after this podcast to learn more about becoming a life coach and specifically how to create a structure I should say, these one-on-one sessions. You re all excited, great, we can create sessions. How do I do that? Annie and I are going to be offering a free webinar that is actually going to teach you the strategies for a one-on-one session. The webinar is called Structuring One-On-One Aroma Therapy Consultations, Strategies That Work. We re going to be sharing step-by-step on how to do effective client communication. It s going to be held on Thursday, September 15 th 2016, at 12:00, noon, Eastern Time. If you can t make it live, there will be a replay. The sign up for the webinar is down below in the show notes. The show notes can be found at aromaticwisdominstitute.com/026. If you have a pen handy you can jot down b-i-t-l-y.com/aromatherapyconsultationswebinar. That will also take you into the sign up. Annie, can you share a little bit more about what s going to happen on the webinar? Annie Mascelli: We re going to pull back the curtain because we want to help you right now have more powerful client conversations. I m going to address some issues that you might have in how to build rapport with a client or how to get to the relevant issue; how to help the client to follow through on using the blend, for example, if aroma therapy is your tool; how to structure the sessions so the client is getting the most out of it so you re making the most powerful and accurate blend. Going

forward as you continue to work with people, how to keep them moving forward and using the tools that you re giving them. I also want to say that I will be talking more specifically on the webinar about my life coach training program. If you have questions about that, that will get answered on there as well. The start of that s coming up soon. There ll be an invitation to that as well. We want to remind people that when you sign up for the webinar, you re signing up with me for the webinar. Liz Fulcher: Good point, Annie. Annie Mascelli: You ll be getting s confirming that from annie@yourspiritedlife.com. You want to be sure to white list that, check your junk mail, or whatever so that you get the reminders for that. Then you can join us live. Liz Fulcher: That s a good point. This webinar is going to be from both Annie and myself from the two different perspectives, Annie whose expertise is life coaching training and my expertise as I like to think that it is is Aromatherapy. Annie Mascelli: Absolutely. Liz Fulcher: I ve done a million consults, so we re going to join our forces together to give you the best possible information we can on how to do these one-on-one consultations and one-on-one sessions whether it s in a professional setting or if it s in your home. It s still doing a professional consultation. Annie Mascelli: Absolutely, absolutely. Liz Fulcher: I can t wait Annie Mascelli: I know, I know. I m really excited about it. Liz Fulcher: Okay, I think that s it. I don t think I ve forgotten anything. Is there anything else you need to say, Annie? Annie Mascelli: Yes, I did want to say that I think that Aromatherapy is an incredibly powerful tool. To have a physical tool like that to work with clients in a life coaching setting is a huge, huge asset. I just love the way Aromatherapy and the skills of life coaching fit together. I know, Liz, you embody that and I m deeply appreciative that we can talk with your students, your graduates, everybody that so loves the Aromatic Wisdom Institute about those two things. I m really excited for this webinar.

Liz Fulcher: I am too. You and I are the same, we want to give, give, give so that our people can just do the best at what they do in life. I think that together we will accomplish that in this webinar. Annie Mascelli: Great. I look forward to it. Liz Fulcher: Yes, thanks for playing in my sandbox for a little bit. I love it. Annie Mascelli: Thanks for having me, it s been really, really fun. Liz Fulcher: It has been fun. Annie Mascelli: Thanks, Liz. Liz Fulcher: Okay. Annie Mascelli: Bye, bye. Liz Fulcher: Bye, bye. END OF INTERVIEW Wasn t that fun? Do you see now why I admire and adore this woman so much? Anyone who s lucky enough to be trained by Annie will receive gifts that they will use for the rest of their lives. Okay, I m going to wrap things up here. First, I just want to give a little recap of some important highlights from the podcast. I ve been speaking with Annie Mascelli of yourspiritedlife.com. Annie and I are going to be sharing with you a free webinar on Thursday, September 15 th 2016 at 12:00, noon, Eastern Time. That would be New York time. If you can t make it live, there will be a replay. You can sign up for the webinar at AromaticWisdomInstitute.com/026 or bitly.com b-i-t-ly.com/aromatherapyconsultationswebinar. The webinar is called Structuring One-On-One Aroma Therapy Consultations, Strategies that Work. You re going to be learning step-by-step how to do an effective client consultation. I can promise you it will be worth it to show up. Annie always over-delivers and we always have a lot of fun when we re together.

I ll be back next time with a podcast about Ravensara versus Ravintsara and what is the difference. If you enjoyed the show or any of the other episodes of the Aromatic Wisdom Podcast, please hop on over to itunes and leave a review.
