3 TEAMS ARE THE HEART OF THE RACE FOR THE CURE When your team joins the Race for the Cure, you will be helping fund programs that reduce barriers to early breast cancer detection. You ll also be fueling research into more effective treatments and screenings. Every person you recruit and every dollar your team raises brings us closer to a world without breast cancer. The Fundraising Center gives you tools that make it easy for your team to succeed. HOW TO START OR RE-FORM A RACE FOR THE CURE TEAM Step 1 Team captain registers and creates the team at komennevada. org/renorace. If you are a returning team, the captain will re-form the team while registering. For returning teams with a new captain, call our office ( ) to update captain so you can access your past team roster and invite past members to join you again. Step 2 Customize your team web page. Login to your Fundraising Center to add a photo of your team, set a fundraising goal and tell everyone why you Race for the Cure. Step 3 Use the Fundraising Center to invite others to donate to or join the team. Step 4 Earn team & individual fundraising rewards for your contribution to the fight againt breast cancer!

6 CORPORATE BILLING AGREEMENT Komen Nevada offers the option to make a one-time payment after the Race to cover some or all of the cost of their team members Race registration fees. Upon receipt of this agreement, Komen Nevada will issue a discount code which the employer can share with team members. Komen should your discount code be communicated outside of your organization. You further agree to remit full payment for the registration fees incurred by use of your discount code for both online and paper registration forms. Komen is the world s largest breast cancer organization, funding more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit, while also providing real-time help to those facing the disease.
