1 5395 Emerson Way, Indianapolis, IN fax: (317) phi kappa psi 2016 Introduction Alumni Associations have been an integral part of the Phi Kappa Psi experience since the late 1800 s, providing regional outlets for Phi Psi gatherings, support networks for local brothers and experienced mentors for chapters in those areas. With the active status comes a great expectation of activity: alumni associations are given the power to vote at Grand Arch Councils and District Council Meetings, but their influence should be felt more on the local level than on the national stage. Maintaining an active AA is fairly simple: 15 active members and paid dues. To provide the best resources possible for our groups or measure the success of our regional associations, it requires a full update from them each year. The following program was developed to measure the success of our alumni associations. You ll find five sections in which your association will be measured. Please take the time to fill this out with your annual report and submit for consideration. 5 out of 5 Accredited Consideration for Outstanding Alumni Association award at GAC 4 out of 5 Accredited 3 out of 5 Accredited 2 out of 5 or lower Not Accredited Application is Due May 1st We do not want this to be a time-consuming project, but the information you provide could be valuable in shaping the programs offered from the National Fraternity. To provide you with an incentive for filling this out, please refer to our accredited association rewards in red. Any AA receiving a score of 3 or higher will be considered accredited.

4 Alumni Association Accreditation Section 3 Chapter Relations While the primary purpose of each association is to act as a support to local alumni, they have the capability to assist our local chapters in a variety of ways as well. If there are chapters in the area of your association, this section aims to measure the relationship you have with those undergraduate members. How many chapters are located within the boundaries of your association? (Note: If you listed 0, feel free to skip this section) Do you have liaisons assigned to work with each chapter and be in regular communication with the GP, AG or Alumni Chairman?
