2 Dear Colleague: We invite you to participate in the Fourth Annual Cancer Pain Conference, Multidisciplinary Cancer Symptom Management: Coming Together To Improve The Journey presented by Dr. Lisa Stearns and the Valley Cancer Pain Foundation, in conjunction with Dr. William Rosenberg and the Cancer Pain Research Consortium with CME accreditation through the West Virginia Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (WVSIPP). This will be a dynamic educational opportunity that brings together a diverse set of physicians from across the United States to discuss the most up-to-date information on therapies available to treat and manage cancer pain and other symptoms associated with cancer treatment. The conference will take place April 24 26, 2015 at the Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale, Arizona. This event promises exciting dialogue regarding available and appropriate care for patients afflicted by the side effects from cancer and its treatments. There will be ample opportunity to network with colleagues and experts, attend educational sessions that fit your specific interests, and ultimately augment your knowledge base with innovative treatment options. Our goal is to present the most recent and relevant data and treatment options to practitioners at all levels and provide a forum to interact and discuss evidence-based medicine and best practices, all of which improve access to and quality of care for patients. Sincerely, Lisa Stearns Valley Cancer Pain Foundation Proceeds from the Third Annual Cancer Pain Conference will benefit the Valley Cancer Pain Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit corporation. The Valley Cancer Pain Foundation was founded by Dr. Lisa Stearns and is dedicated solely to cancer pain research and to raise awareness and educate families, patients and providers on integrating interventional pain treatments. Cancer Pain Research Consortium The Cancer Pain Research Consortium, founded by Dr. William Roesnberg, is a 501c3 organization resolving to dedicate itself to the relief of pain and suffering related to cancer. CPRC is a multidisciplinary physician group, comprised of practitioners from across North America representing many major cancer centers and large practices, dedicated to generating and promoting interdisciplinary, patient-centered, evidence-based care for cancer-related pain and suffering.

3 Our Educational Program: This will be a dynamic educational opportunity that brings together a diverse set of physicians from across the United States to discuss the most up-to-date information on therapies available to treat and manage cancer pain. There will be ample opportunity to network with colleagues and experts, attend educational sessions that fit your specific interests, and ultimately augment your knowledge base with innovative treatment options. Format will include individual lectures, filmed cases, panel discussions, and breakout sessions. Lecture topics will include: Advanced Pain Management Techniques, Pump Management, Pump Troubleshooting and Complications, Palliative Care and Rehab, Chemotherapy as it relates to Cancer Pain, Symptom Management, Radiotherapy, Oncologist Perspective, Current Opioid Situation Risks of long-term usage, Neurosurgical techniques with an emphasis on patient selection and outcomes, Interventional Therapies, Role of Mental Healthcare and Cancer Pain Management, Wellness and Complementary Therapy, Practice Management and Business sessions, and many more. Expected Attendance: The 2015 Cancer Pain Conference is expected to attract clinicians, scientists and industry partners involved with the treatment of cancer patients. We anticipate over 150 clinical providers to attend including; physicians, mid-level practitioners, nurses, pharmacists and hospice providers.
