2 HearStrong is changing the face of hearing loss. In 2013, the HearStrong Foundation began its mission to radically challenge the general perception of hearing loss and hearing aids. The question was simple. How can the 20 percent of Americans who treat their hearing loss empower and inspire the other 80 percent to take action and get the support they need? In response, the foundation identifies and celebrates the most remarkable people with hearing loss. HearStrong Champions have approached the challenges surrounding their hearing loss with a determined spirit, a focused mind and an unwavering heart. Courageous and determined, they prove that nothing is impossible and advocate for the 38 million Americans with untreated hearing loss!
