3 ABOUT CAFE CAFE is a national not-for-profit organization established in 1983 with the mandate to promote the well-being, understanding and success of families in business. Through chapters across Canada, CAFE provides services and support to 890 businesses comprised of approximately 2,500 family business owners, shareholders, family business members, managers and professional advisors. At CAFE, our focus is on facilitating peer support and knowledge sharing through our peer groups (PAGs), workshops, seminars, conferences, and online education and resources in our E- Learning Center.
