Come along to find out more about what S2R can offer, courses, workshops and opportunities. Carers Create Every Wednesday and Friday Carers Create is a group aimed at adults who care for another adult. It s a great way to take some time out to feel better by doing something creative and gain support from fellow carers. 2 per carer Knitty Gritty Every Thursday Peer led knitting, crochet and sewing circle, intended for those with previous experience. Bring your own materials. 1 per week (includes first drink) Reminiscence Games Every Monday 1:30pm - 3:00pm (Starting 6th February) Come along and have good old fashioned fun, if we don t have your favourite game - bring it in and teach us! 1 per session (includes first drink) Floral Crowns Tuesday 7th February 1pm - 3pm Learn how to create your own perfect floral crown, using foam and paper flowers that will last. Collecting Yorkshire Tuesday 7th February 10am - 12pm (2 week course) A two session course looking at the Yorkshire based Gott Collection, exploring how Yorkshire has been represented in art: through discussion in small groups and creation of your own images.

No gardening experience needed. Metal Stamped Jewellery Friday 17th February 2pm - 4pm Make personalised jewellery using a variety of fonts, symbols and imagery. Experiment with various kinds of metal and colouring techniques. 25 per person Portraiture (Carlile Institute, Meltham) Friday 17th February 10:00am - 12:00pm (8 week course) The Portraiture course will help you learn how to use pastels and ink to produce creative and accurate portraits. 3 per session/ 24 full course Wire Sculpture (Carlile Institute, Meltham) Friday 17th February (8 week course) Wire is a great material to sculpt with, taking inspiration from nature, we will explore this medium in expressive and diverse ways. 3 per session/ 24 full course Wire Jewellery Saturday 18th February 10:30 am - 12:30 pm (4 week course) You will learn a variety of wire jewellery techniques to create rings, pendants and earrings. 10 per session/ 40 full course Be Well Saturday 18th February Come along to this informal session to learn some simple steps we can all take, to look after our mental health and well-being. 3 per person Natural Well-being Products Saturday 18th February 11am - 3pm Learn how to make different products including soaps, scrubs and candles, to improve your well-being using natural ingredients. 2 per person (contribution towards materials costs) Tolson Family Gardening (Tolson Museum Memorial Gardens) Monday 20th February Join us at Tolson Museum Memorial Gardens for propagating plants and lots for all the family to do. Book Sculptures Tuesday 21st February 1pm - 3pm Turn vintage books into works of art using a variety of folding and cutting techniques. These can be used as flat pieces of art or hung as mobiles. 10 per person Mindfulness Meditation Wednesday 22nd February Learn simple meditation techniques to relax and focus the mind. Winter Weekend Well-being Saturday 25th February Enjoy a unique retreat style workshop with activities designed to promote relaxation, reflection and creativity.

Eligibility requirements apply. Nature in You Wild Woods (Beaumont Park) Tuesday 28th February Rediscover inner and outer resources for a wild wood experience, using bush craft and meditation. String Art Tuesday 28th February 1pm - 3pm Use nails and brightly coloured string to make vibrant pieces of art. 8 per person Stained Glass Wednesday 1st March 5:30pm - 8pm (6 week course) Learn how to cut glass, use a glass grinder, apply copper foil and solder in order to make their own stained glass masterpiece. Materials supplied, additional materials may be purchased for final project depending on design. Eligibility requirements apply.
