It is the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting nearly 300 communities to finish the fight. In 2015 alone, more than 231,841 women are expected to be newly diagnosed with breast cancer and 40,290 are expected to die from the disease. In New Hampshire an estimated 1,120 will be newly diagnosed and 170 are expected to die from the disease. You will provide a quality team building experience and a medium for volunteerism and philanthropy. Genetics, body weight, lack of exercise and alcohol use can increase breast cancer risk by 34 percent. The majority of our participants are on teams and teams raise 85% of the total funds. A team is at least 10 people, each committed to raising a minimum of $100.
