Nash Multicultural Collection 1500 North Lombardy Street Richmond, VA info@resourcingchurches.com Dear Friend in Christ: June 21, 2015 The Board of Directors and staff of The Resource Center cordially invite you and your congregation to join us for our Eleventh Annual Excellence In Ministry Banquet on Friday, October 23, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. The banquet will be held this year at the Perkins Living & Learning Center on the campus of Virginia Union University, a beautiful new facility near to the Center itself. Each year, the recognition ceremony for honorees is a highlight, and we are moved by the music of the INCLUSION Choir, a choir that embodies the vision of The Resource Center. Recognition Ceremony for Honorees Our Excellence In Ministry ceremony will honor those nominated from each church who have served faithfully and with distinction in any area of ministry. Anyone who has given outstanding service in positions such as teacher, deacon or deaconess, Christian educator, trustee, musician, pastor, usher, church clerk or any other ministry, may be recognized. As guests of The Resource Center, honorees will receive their meal, corsage/boutonniere, and framed Certificate of Excellence at no charge. If you wish to select a second honoree your church will be responsible for the cost of that person s meal. A brief profile of each honoree will appear in the printed program. During the ceremony, each honoree will be photographed with his/her pastor/ designee, and the picture will be sent to the church following the banquet. To facilitate the nomination of your honoree, a Nomination Form is enclosed with this letter. All nominations and biographical information must be received by September 28, 2015! The INCLUSION Choir Returns We are proud to welcome the INCLUSION Choir back to our banquet. INCLUSION is a mass choir representing diversity in race, ethnicity, culture, and faith tradition; an outstanding concert featured their talents in April The INCLUSION Choir blends voices and musical styles, sharing music from various genres. Those wishing to perform with the INCLUSION Choir should info@resourcingchurches.com or call The Resource Center to learn more about a rehearsal date prior to the banquet. Also Returning: Our Silent Auction A favorite of guests, our silent auction returns with all proceeds going to the ministry of The Resource Center. You can help us make this venture a success by encouraging your members to donate either items or services. Tax credit is permissible for the value assigned by the donor. A Silent Auction Donation Form is included with this mailing. The Resource Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

2 -2- Banquet Cost and Reservations The 2015 banquet cost is $50.00 per person. All proceeds from the banquet will be used to support the ministry of The Resource Center (a portion of the banquet cost will qualify as a deductible donation for tax purposes). A special discounted rate of $45 per person is available to individuals and churches who register and pay in full by September 23, You may use the enclosed forms to register and nominate honorees. Registration and payment will also take place online this year at our website: A Guest List is enclosed for your convenience in gathering information and making reservations.
