2 Dear Friend, Thank you for your interest in sponsoring a NEDA Walk in your community! NEDA Walks, hosted by the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA), are events that inspire community-building and eating disorders awareness and activism. Since 2009, NEDA Walks have raised over $6.7 million to support NEDA s lifesaving programs and services that advocate for and provide support to the millions of individuals and families affected by eating disorders. NEDA Walks are currently held in over 70 locations across the country. In 2016, nearly 20,000 walkers nationwide came out to support the fight against eating disorders! NEDA s goal through walk sponsorships is to provide our sponsors with maximum exposure while also helping you build and strengthen brand loyalty among our passionate supporters. Depending on the chosen level of support, sponsors receive their own exhibitor space at the walk, and can have their logo appear on the event website, walker t-shirts, weekly and social media blasts, event signage, and more! A few of NEDA s noteworthy corporate sponsors have included: Aerie/American Eagle Outfitters, American Express, Disney, Home Depot, IBM, JPMorgan Chase, Macy s, Verizon, Wal-Mart, and many others. By supporting a NEDA Walk, we also present you with the special opportunity to build brand awareness and loyalty among a diverse audience of individuals and families. Thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds come together each year to raise awareness, support their community, and inspire others through stories of hope.
