2 WHY LIFE GROUPS? We believe God created us to enjoy life together. It is through doing life together that we benefit from life changing relationships that bring healing, encouragement, and joy to our lives and others.

4 LIFE GROUPS FOR MEN Brothers and Billiards: This group builds relationships and community among brothers through the game of pool (billards). The hope is that by building these connections brothers will build upon their network of men that they can grow with and be encouraged by. Aurora, IL Christians with Careers: This group equips its members on how best to navigate maintaining godly influence in the workplace. The members of this group offer suppport to one another s career pursuits by praying for each other, sharing professional practices, and offering encourgament. 5 Father and Son: This group brings fathers and sons together and creates an environment for them to spend time together, deepen their relationships, and empower them to be better men as they grow in their faith. Under Construction: This group of men come together weekly via conference call to fellowship, build relationships, and grow in their faith through sharing scripture, praying for one another, and learning to totally rely on God. 6 WOMEN S GROUPS Divorced But Not Destroyed: This group is for women who are currently divorced or separated. The group offers encouragement and helps provide perspective and healing during this season of life; while helping its members to discover a hope-filled future. It takes a team effort to accomplish a successful line dance. This group is a fun way to meet new people, build relationships, and get a good work out while having fun. 7 M.O.M; Moments of Momentum: This group for women is all about connecting Mom s with other moms or mothers to be, so that they can advocate, support, encourage and empower each other in the journey of being or becoming a parent. Recommit Differently: This group for women helps recommit to themselves and their goals. As women, we all have a purpose in common. 8 Sisters in Spirit: This group is designed for women to come together to fellowship and be empowered by sharing each others life stories; all while growing in their faith. 9 MARRIAGE GROUPS Young and Married: This group caters to married couples under the age of 30 who have been married for 10 years or less. It is designed to help couples come together to learn about marriage, encourage one another, and empower one another to stay together. This group creates an atmosphere where husbands and wives are held accountable according to the Word of God in an effort to create a marriage union that reflects Christ relationship with the church to the world. 10 STUDENT GROUPS NSBE Jr. Pre-College Group: This group is designed for students in grades 6th- 12th. The group helps to stimulate interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The goal of the group is to encourage students to attend college and pursue technical degrees. Group Leader: Cortez Watkins Meeting Time: Every 2nd 10:00am *Contact Leader for location. The Purity Promise: This is a group for young ladies 18 and under. In it, they are encouraged to know their worth and the power of sexual purity. They learn to navigate through life with confidence and learn how to have healthy relationships while honoring God. 11 Renewed Romans 12:2: This group is designed for young girls 6th -12th. Young ladies in this group learn to see themselves the way Jesus sees them and develop a love and respect for themselves. Through fellowship and discussion the girls in this group increase their ability through Christ to love and overcome the road blocks of the culture. The group comes together to fellowship and discuss the best way to navigate through social, emotional, and spiritual issues in a Godly setting. Group Leader: Min.
