NCCC Governor - Dean The Antelope Valley Corvette Club originated in 1969 and will celebrate its 47th birthday in Our club has meetings on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. We meet at The Sizzler, 853 W Palmdale Blvd, Palmdale. If you would like to eat dinner first, please come at 6:00. Any potential new members are welcome to attend a meeting. All new members must own a Corvette.

Attend club socials every month 9. Hold club picnics (movie runs, etc.) There are many different types of Corvettes in the club, from old to new, original to custom. There are also several anniversary editions and a couple of pace cars. The Vette Voice is the official publication of the Antelope Valley Corvette Club. It is published monthly after the business meeting, and is distributed to all club members in good standing, to potential members interested in joining the club and to other clubs in the area. Articles that pertain to Corvettes, A.V.C.C members, or the Antelope Valley are always welcomed. The Antelope Valley Corvette Club is a non-profit organization formed by those who are proud of America s greatest and longest lived sports car, the CORVETTE! We are the true meaning of pride of ownership. Annual membership dues are $36 per year, per member ($60 per couple). Also required to join the Antelope Valley Corvette Club, members must join our national organization of National Council of Corvette Clubs (NCCC).

4 ANTELOPE VALLEY CORVETTE CLUB MEETING MINUTES PAGE FOUR ANTELOPE VALLEY CORVETTE CLUB MEETING MINUTES January 4, 2017 CALL TO ORDER: Newly elected President Shirley called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. at the Sizzler Steakhouse in Palmdale APPROVAL OF MINUTES: December minutes were ed to the members Motion to approve the minutes was passed. TREASURER S REPORT: Nelly presented the treasurer s report for December:! Deposits - $20.09! Outflows - $84.38! Balance as of 12/31/2016: $ Motion to approve the report and bills were passed. OLD BUSINESS: Lt. Belinda Johnson and Sgt. Andrew Nagel from the Sheriff s Department were presented a check from the club for 999 for kids. The organization is partnered with the Dept. of Children s and Family Services going above and beyond helping kids. This was one of the charities the club voted to donate to. If anyone is interested in volunteering Sgt. Nagel is the contact. The website is palmdale.lasd.org. Larry will meet with John G and take over the web page. John will update it before Larry takes over. NEW BUSINESS: Dana asked if anyone was going on the Mexican Riviera Corvette Pirate Cruise January 29. It will depart from Long Beach. NCCC: Dean will attend the next meeting on January 21. The new NCCC cards are valid for 5 years. ACTIVITIES: Due to uncertain weather conditions the club decided not to have a January outing. 2/11/17 Nethercutt Museum A Night of Silent Comedies. Eight members are interested in attending. Reservations need to be made January 11 between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. The Howards and Gordons will call. March - Boron Automobile Driving Museum El Segundo - TBD SUNSHINE: Birthdays and anniversaries for January will be available in the newsletter. NEWSLETTER: Gary asked to send Corvette club related pictures. MISCELLANEOUS: Janie won the 50/50 raffle for $32.50 Meeting was adjourned at 7:34 p.m.
