1 LETTERS TO GOD FILM PRESCREENING FOR CANCER ORGANIZATIONS Letters to God from Possibility Pictures A new movie by David Nixon, who co produced both Facing the Giants and Fireproof, the #1 independent film in the world at the box office in Letters to God is based on a true story of an 8 year old boy dealing with brain cancer and how he lifts the spirits and changes the lives of those around him. It is a story of cancer AND a story of hope! The movie is being released in 750 theatres nationwide Spring 2010 (April 9th). The partners at Possibility Pictures are making the film available to cancer charities, hospitals and organizations prior to the April 9, 2010, release for use as a fundraising vehicle. The charity or hospital can determine the theme for the event, what to charge donors, the screening location and keep all of the proceeds. In return, we ask that the organization, prior to their event, remit a $1500 $2500 Event Fee so we may purchase a screen on opening weekend at a participating theatre in their area. And, we request that the organization contact their database and encourage them to attend the movie opening weekend. This is a critical weekend to the movie s success. All the tickets purchased with the Event Fee go back to the charity for a giveaway to their donors or for re sale as a second source of raising funds. Possibility Pictures is arranging 153 church screenings and 50 cancer Movie Night Fundraiser Screenings across the country prior to the April 9, 2010, national release date.
