2 What is Dress for Success Wichita s Boo and Brew Ball? The Boo and Brew Ball is Wichita s premier Halloween party with live and silent auctions, a costume contest, and live entertainment. Funds raised at the 15 th annual Boo and Brew Ball benefit Dress for Success Wichita and remain in the greater Wichita community. Dress for Success Wichita A Local Cause with a Global Impact Dress for Success Wichita is part of a global movement for change - empowering women to obtain safer and better futures. Our mission is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools to help women thrive in work and life. We are a non-profit organization that relies entirely on financial donations and volunteers from within our community. Since 2000, we have made a difference in the lives of many women in our community by: Providing clothing for job interviews in our Boutique; Assisting with resume writing and reviews in our Career Center; and Facilitating networking and educational opportunities in our Professional Women s Group meetings and Going Places Network by Wal-Mart. We provide suits and skills to local Wichita women to help them become economically independent. Not only will our clients benefit from your support, but so will our entire community when our clients become gainfully employed and go on to lead productive and successful lives.
