You are helping further OUR MISSION TO END BREAST CANCER, and through your hard work and dedication you will save lives. For that, we cannot THANK YOU enough! Encourage your team members to join you in being MORE THAN PINK as you all fundraised to help the patients in our communities who need mammograms, treatment, and survivorship support; as well as supporting groundbreaking research for better treatments and ultimately to find a cure. Everything you need is here, from tips to recruit new team members, tips to encourage fundraising, a registration overview, and information about the many available contests and prizes for motivation. 3

Set a fundraising goal for your team»» Did you know? 50 Contributes to our local fund to provide treatment in Miami Dade, Broward, and Monroe County 100 Provides one screening mammogram 200 Helps a patient in need pay a portion of one diagnostic exam Encourage each team member to set their own individual goals. 7 TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK! Tips To Build Your Team 1. If you are setting up a team at work, have a friendly competition for participation between departments. 2. Customize your team s web page in the Participation Center. Share a personal story and photos of a team member. 3. the team s link to your friends and family and ask them to consider joining your team. 4. Host a team Kick-Off Party and educate potential members about the MORE THAN PINK WALK!»» Susan G. Komen Miami/Ft. Lauderdale Staff is always ready to help. Invite us for a Lunch&Learn session! 5. Make it easy and convenient to learn about your team.»» Recruit co-captains to help you spread the word. KEEP CALM, YOU T OTALLY CAN!»» Set up a registration table at work, school, your place of worship, etc.»» Post team registration information in places that are visible to potential team members. 6.
