But for those on the streets, with every drop in the temperatures it s a fight for survival. Therefore, NSS Unit of PLTIMSR organized a Blanket Donation Campaign, wherein warm blankets were donated by the volunteers to the underprivileged living in the open on the streets. Volunteers tried their best to reach out to people in some localities of Nagpur. There is no better gift than providing warm clothing to the needy during winter season. Lakhs of homeless experience bitterness of winter and are at a great risk of suffering from severe illnesses. There cannot be a bigger satisfaction than saving someone s life. It is a blessing of many old who have been sheltered in the old age home. To sensitize problems of aged people and to become aware of the joy of serving and being with the aged, therefore NSS Unit of PLTIMSR organized a visit to Shanti Bhavan viz. Old Age Home. As soon as the children stepped in the elderly people were happy to see them and greetings were exchanged. The students offered them Fruits and Sweets.
