Training Courses and research / theses work goes on continuous basis- Training of Trauma Technician Nursing Staff 5. Facility for general public- Normal delivery, instrumental delivery, cesarean delivery, Gynae Surgery Services are free for CGHS general patient, private patients have to pay nominal charges for every facility provided to them. Patients are booked very early in pregnancy, attend as per Schedule Prompt Efficient blood bank services are available round the clock Minor Procedures ( Mat OT) DC, Cervical biopsy,ea, EB, Bartholin cysts/abscess removal MTP with or without Cu-T, Female lap sterilization, DE Hydrotubation Emergency Procedures (Emergency OT) DC, Suction Evacuation Laparotomy for uterine perforation, ruptured Ectopic pregnancy Twisted ovarian cyst Postpartum complications like Hematoma, Rupture Uterus Em. Ceasarean

Each year four candidates for MD course are selected Class room teaching thrice a week Bed side clinic in each unit Journal club and seminars biweekly Training for clinical work in labour room, minor and major operations and Other disciplines like paediatrics, radiology and anaesthesia. Achievements Department is actively participating in PNDT MTP act workshop, spreading awareness about female foeticide. Clerical staff in the Department has been successfully trained for Hindi typing writing. Two Vasectomy Camps organized in Jan-08 and March-08. There has been a marked increase in number of vasectomy (700) and Tubectomy (140) in last six months.
