2 Activity Coxidin is effective ginst the min coccidi species (including recent field isoltes): Eimeri tenell, E. cervulin, E. precox, E. mitis, E. runetti, E. mxim nd E. nectrix in chickens. E. denoides, E. melegrimitis nd E. gllopvonis in turkeys. It is most efficcious in the erly stges of the coccidi lifecycle. Coxidin llows few oocysts to survive nd helps the young nimls to uild up nturl immunity. Erly control of coccidi prevents dmge to the epithelil cells of the gut lining, thus reducing the risk of infections y pthogens, such s Clostridium perfringens.
