Handle with care. Harmful if swallowed and if inhaled. Skin or eye irritation is not expected; may cause slight irritation in some individuals. Very toxic to aquatic organisms. Store in a cool, dry well-ventilated place in the original container, tightly closed and secured. Store away from food, feeds, seed, fertilizer and other agricultural remedies. Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals. Re-entry: Do not enter treated area within 1 day after treatment, unless wearing protective clothing. In case of poisoning, contact a physician and make this label available. Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions the registration holder does not warrant that it will be efficacious under all conditions because the action and effect thereof may be affected by factors such as abnormal climatic and storage conditions, quality of dilution water, incompatibility with other substances not indicated on the label and the occurrence of resistance of the diseases against the remedy concerned as well as by the method, time and accuracy of application. The registration holder furthermore does not accept responsibility for damage to crops, vegetation, the environment or harm to man or animal or for lack of performance of the remedy concerned due to failure of the user to follow the label instructions or to the occurrence of conditions which could not have been foreseen in terms of the registration. Consult the supplier or registration holder in the event of any uncertainty. PRECAUTIONS: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Do not eat, drink or smoke while mixing or applying the product or before washing hands and face and changing clothing. Do not inhale vapour or spray mist. Wear protective clothing, face shield, rubber gloves and rubber boots when mixing and spraying the spray mixture. Wash with soap and water after use and accidental skin contact. Wash contaminated clothing after use. Prevent contamination of food, feeds, drinking water and eating utensils. GALACTICA/29/07/2013 2

3 Clean application equipment after use. Dispose of wash water where it will not contaminate crops, grazing, rivers, dams and boreholes. Avoid drift of spray onto adjacent orchards, other crops, grazing, rivers, dams and areas not under treatment. Triple rinse empty containers in the following manner: Invert the empty container over the spray or mixing tank and allow to drain for at least 30 seconds after the flow has slowed down to a drip. Thereafter, rinse the container three times with a volume of water equal to a minimum of 10 % of that of the container. Add the rinsings to the contents of the spray tank before destroying the container in the described manner. Destroy the empty container by perforation and flattening and dispose of it in a safe manner. Never re-use the empty container for any other purpose. SYMPTOMS OF HUMAN POISONING: Flusilazole is moderately toxic. The product may have a slight irritation effect to skin and eyes, due to the low concentration of solvent present in the product. Harmful if ingested and may cause dizziness, nausea, salivation, laboured breathing and exhaustion. When inhaled it may cause irritation to membranes of nose and throat due to the low concentration of solvent in the product. FIRST AID TREATMENT: Inhalation: Remove source of contamination, or move patient to fresh air. Keep the patient warm and at rest. Treat symptomatically and supportively. Get medical attention immediately if symptoms persist. Administration of oxygen should be performed by qualified personnel. Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing, shoes and leather goods immediately. Wash skin gently and thoroughly with soap and water until no evidence of chemical remains. Do not rub skin. If irritation persists, seek medical advice. Eye contact: Immediately flush contaminated eyes with gently flowing clean water for 20 minutes, occasionally lifting upper and lower lids until no evidence of chemical remains. Obtain medical attention if irritation persists. Ingestion: DO NOT induce vomiting. If the patient is alert and conscious, have the patient to rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Seek medical advice and make the label or Safety Data Sheet available. NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: An antidote is not known. Treat symptomatically and supportively. If ingested consider gastric lavage, avoiding aspiration though. Do not give ephedrine or related drugs. RESISTANCE WARNING: GALACTICA is a group code 3 fungicide. Any fungus population may contain individuals naturally resistant to GALACTICA and other group code 3 fungicides. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the fungus population if these fungicides are used repeatedly. These resistant fungi may not be controlled by GALACTICA or any other group code 3 fungicide. To delay fungicide resistance: Avoid exclusive repeated use of fungicides from the same fungicide group code. Alternate or tank mix with products form different fungicide group codes, For tank mixing or alternation with products in fungicide group code 3, refer to applicable individual product labels, Integrate other control methods (chemical, cultural, biological) into disease control programmes. 4 DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Use only as directed. Compatibility: GALACTICA is compatible with most registered fungicides and insecticides used on apples and pears. Do not mix with other pesticides unless physical and chemical compatibility has been confirmed. When GALACTICA is used in mixtures with other remedies, observe the label WARNINGS, PRECAUTIONS and DIRECTIONS FOR USE as indicated for these remedies. Mixing Instructions: Half-fill the spray tank with clean water. Measure the required volume of GALACTICA and add to the spray tank. If any other product is to be mixed with GALACTICA, first pre-mix the required volume of the other product(s). Then add the pre-mixture(s) to the spray tank in the following sequence (as applicable): adjuvant/acidifier, wettable powder, suspension concentrate, emulsifiable concentrate and finally GALACTICA directly into the tank. Fill the spray tank with water to the required level while maintaining agitation to ensure thorough mixing of the spray mixture and maintain agitation while spraying. Prepared spray mixture must not be left in the spray tank for any length of time, e.g. overnight. Product Information: GALACTICA is systemic and absorbed by plant tissue within 3 hours of application, therefore it should not be affected thereafter by rain or irrigation. The product has curative and preventive properties. Use GALACTICA in a spray programme and in a tank mixture with mancozeb in order to obtain the optimum efficacy and also to delay the development of resistance against systemic fungicides.
