12 2 Photosynthesis equation Light energy is absorbed by chlorophyll in chloroplasts and used to convert carbon dioxide and water into glucose, oxygen is a by product. Glucose may be converted into starch for storage. Explain why plants should be de starched before photosynthesis experiments and describe how this is done.
