5 How to refer your patients. Referring your patients for a wide range of health and wellbeing services at Nuffield Health is quick and simple. We accept the following patients: Self Pay Insured NHS Patients with health insurance We have agreements with all major insurers. In most cases a GP referral is required when patients are using health insurance. Patients will need to have their health insurance policy details and authorisation number available when booking or attending an appointment. Patients who are paying for themselves For patients who want to self-pay for their own treatment we can provide a range of services. All our patients are covered by the Nuffield Health price promise, and there is also the option of an interest free loan.
