1 Examination: Type of examination: Description of the examination Price: Ultrasound / Sonographic examination/ Ultrasound examination of the upper abdominal area It is an examination of the liver, bile ducts, pancreas, spleen, kidneys and adrenal glands, an examination of the great vessels located in this part of the abdomen and of the lymph nodes. The doctor will issue a report with a medical conclusion. CZK 1200 Ultrasound examination of the lower abdominal area It is an examination of the bladder, prostate, seminal vesicles, uterus, ovaries, the digestive tube, vessels and nodes located in this area. The doctor will issue a report with a medical conclusion. CZK 1200 Ultrasound examination of the breasts It is an examination of both breasts, including both armpits. The doctor will issue a report with a medical conclusion. CZK 1000 Ultrasound examination of the neck nodules, thyroid gland It is an examination of the throat, including the lymph nodes, and examination of the thyroid gland lobes. The doctor will issue a report with a medical conclusion. CZK 500 Ultrasound (Doppler) examination of the blood vessels of the legs It is an examination of the vascular patency of the vessels in both lower limbs. The doctor will issue a report with a medical conclusion. CZK 700 Ultrasound examination of the arteries supplying the brain with blood The examination contains the ultrasound examination of the arteries supplying the brain with blood (arteria carotis communis, arteria carotis interna, carotis externa, arteria vertebralis, and more). The examination is performed on both sides of the neck. A doctor who performs the examination shall issue a report with a medical conclusion and a treatment suggestion. Internal medicine and cardiology internist The examination consists of taking case history, a physical examination, blood pressure measurement, ECG. Blood tests recommended by the doctor are charged separately according to the price list of the laboratories. Targeted physical examination by an internist 1
2 A comprehensive examination by the cardiologist The examination consists of taking the case history, a physical examination by a cardiologist, blood pressure measurement, ECG, a report and with a medical conclusion and a treatment suggestion. Blood tests recommended by the doctor are charged separately according to the price list of the laboratories. CZK 1800 A targeted examination by the cardiologist 24 hour blood pressure monitoring The examination consists of blood pressure monitoring with a special tool that the patient wears on his forearm for 24 hours (also during his/her working hours) and a computer analysis of the results of the BP measurements + a treatment suggestion, if needed. CZK 800 ECG The examination consists of an electrocardiogram and a description of the examination by a doctor CZK 350 Echocardiographic ultrasound examination The examination checks the state of the heart, heart valves and major arteries. A special test to rule out myocardial infarction (troponin) The examination consists of a blood draw, a test performed in a special analyser (It takes 20 minutes to perform the test) CZK 800 Oncology oncologist The examination consists of taking the case history, a physical examination by an oncologist, breast examination in women, blood pressure measurement, ECG, a report and with a medical conclusion and a treatment suggestion as well as a suggestion of other examinations that might be needed. 3 Stool and occult bleeding tests (bowel cancer prevention) The examination consists of a laboratory examination of stool and a consultation with a doctor. CZK 300 Allergology allergologist The examination consists of taking the case history, physical examination by a doctor, the basic range of allergologic skin tests, spirometry, patient education, and the medical conclusion, medical report and a treatment suggestion. Blood tests recommended by the doctor are charged separately according to the price list of the laboratories. CZK A targeted examination by an allergologist The examination consists of a consultation with the physician and treatment modification. Allergologic skin tests The examination consists of tests for pollen, dust, dust, mite and animal allergy, etc. CZK 800 Spirometry This is a separate spirometry, which consists of spirometry (performed by a nurse) and a computer evaluation, performed by a doctor. CZK 400 Ear-nose-throat otorhinolaryngologist The examination consists of taking case history, a physical examination by a doctor, the ultrasound examination of the paranasal sinuses, an examination of nasopharynx, larynx, and ear by optical devices, audiometry to examine hearing and tympanometry to examine the Eustachian tube. A report with a medical conclusion, treatment suggestion. Blood tests recommended by the doctor are charged separately according to the price list of the laboratories. A targeted examination by an otorhinolaryngologist Audiometry The examination consists of checking the ear canals and ear drums, audiometry performed by a nurse and evaluated by a doctor. CZK 400 3
4 Neurology A comprehensive examination by a neurologist The examination consists of taking the case history, a detailed neurological examination, checking the blood pressure and pulse, a report with a medical conclusion and proposal for further treatment. Blood tests recommended by the doctor are charged separately according to the price list of the laboratories. A targeted examination Ultrasound examination of cerebral arteries The examination contains the ultrasound examination of the arteries supplying the brain with blood (arteria carotis communis, arteria carotis interna, carotis externa, arteria vertebralis, and more). The examination is performed on both sides of the neck. A doctor who performs the examination shall issue a report with a medical conclusion and a treatment suggestion. TCD This is a transcranial ultrasound examination of the major cerebral arteries. The doctor will issue a report with a medical conclusion.
