Hill, B.A. CURRICULUM VITAE PERSONAL INFORMATION EDUCATION Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA, B.A. in Psychology Cumulative GPA: 3.73 Major GPA: 3.83 RESEARCH EXPERIENCE 2005-Present Senior Thesis Project, Personality, Psychopathology, and Psychotherapy Laboratory, Pennsylvania State University Principal Investigator: Lindsay L. Hill Faculty Advisor: Kenneth N. Levy, Ph.D. Senior Project involving the development and validation of a multidimensional measure for reflective function. Responsibilities included: reviewing the literature on reflective function and mentalization, the writing of a grant proposal to fund the project, writing and submitting a secondary data IRB, familiarization with the Adult Attachment Interview (AAI) and Peter Fonagy s scoring system for reflective function, undergoing coding training for scoring reflective function, developing a multi-item questionnaire of reflective function, assisting and supervising the coding of audio-tape and transcribed interviews using the reflective function questionnaire, data collection and analysis, manuscript preparation and the presentation of findings. This project is currently in the data collection phase Laboratory Manager, Personality, Psychopathology, and Psychotherapy Laboratory, Pennsylvania State University Supervisor/Principal Investigator: Kenneth N. Levy, Ph.D. Involved in an ongoing NIMH and foundation grant funded research program investigating change in the attachment and mental representations of individuals diagnosed with borderline personality disorder during a RCT psychotherapy study. Responsibilities included: assisting in the writing and submission of IRB research proposals, managing the undergraduate research assistants daily activities, coordinating experiments, website maintenance, conducting literature searches, assisting in the editing/preparation of manuscripts for publication, assisting in grant submissions, arranging Dr. Levy s conference travel, assisting in the preparation of conference presentations, organizing lab finances and all relevant paperwork, pulling study-relevant data from patient records, checking data in SPSS for accuracy, data organization and data analysis, subject scheduling, ordering lab supplies, facilitating other general lab functions, clerical work, and lab meeting attendance.

Hill Page Research Assistant, Personality Laboratory, Pennsylvania State University Principal Investigators: Aaron Pincus, Ph.D. and Mark Lukowitsky, M.A. Assisted in an experiment designed to assess trends in the relationship between personality psychology and clinical psychology research. Responsibilities included reviewing and coding issues of the Journal of Abnormal Psychology, the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, and Psychological Assessment starting from 2004 and progressing back to1966 for personality content, research focus, and individual difference variables. This project is currently in the data analysis and manuscript preparation phase Research Assistant, Personality Laboratory, Pennsylvania State University Principal Investigator: Aaron Pincus, Ph.D. Supervisors: Nicole Cain and Claudia Pimentel Involved in two ongoing studies investigating the personality organization of narcissistic individuals. Duties included: assisting in mass screening, collating scantrons, recruiting and scheduling undergraduate participants, scheduling patients from the Psychological Clinic, contributing to experiment design, proctoring questionnaire sessions with clinic patients, running the survivor experiment, attending and presenting articles in lab meetings. Fall 2003 Research Assistant, Laboratory for Cognition and Action, Pennsylvania State University Principal Investigator: David Rosenbaum, Ph.D. Involved in an experiment to assess bimodal coordination in a student population. Responsibilities included: contributing to experimental design, scheduling and debriefing participants, gathering data on the OptoTrack, and attending lab meetings. CLINICAL EXPERIENCE 2006 Present Therapeutic Staff Support, Northwestern Human Services - State College, PA Worked 32.5 hours a week providing communication and behavioral interventions to kindergarten-aged children with autism-spectrum disorders according to treatment plans based on behavioral modification principles.
