6 Practices that will help you communicate with your animal Develop your ability to telepathically and intuitively communicate with animals Two Bear HEALING ARTS NYACK, NY T: E: W: twobearhealingarts.com With Susan J. Squittieri
Welcome I m so deeply honored and thrilled to share this e-book with you, and to help you get started on your journey with how to read your animal s thoughts. Communicating with animals is an intuitive, telepathic, spiritual and nurturing heart-centered connection. It can enhance your relationships with your animals on many levels, bringing clearer understanding about their needs, desires, behaviors, wisdom, humor, and purpose in your life. It can also bring about positive change and healing. Communicating with animals is fun and very rewarding. I have been connecting animals and humans for over 10 years and can honestly say I love what I do. It is my life path and soul purpose in this lifetime and it brings me more joy and happiness than I can express. I have the pleasure of working with all different types of animals and people from across the nation sharing my gifts and skills as an animal communicator, energy practitioner, herbalist, and teacher. Most of all, I love that I can make a positive difference in the lives of animals and their people by deepening their relationships. You are about to embark on a wonderful journey that will not only connect you with your animals, it will connect you to yourself and all life. Page 2
Anyone Can Do It! Humans are born with the innate ability to communicate telepathically and intuitively with each other, animals, and nature by mentally sending and receiving thoughts, images, and feelings. Telepathy is a form of communication which doesn t require the use of any spoken words. We humans however, tend to forget that we have this ability because we rely on the spoken word and written communication. Telepathy is the primary way in which all animals communicate with each other, and it s also how they try to communicate with humans. If you have animals, then on some level you are already communicating intuitively, you just might not be aware of it because it happens so naturally. Your animals are sending you messages every day you may have a thought enter your mind and dismiss that it is them talking to you. Telepathic communication with animals really means listening to your intuition. It is your inner voice that is quiet and subtle. So you need to pay attention to that. Sometimes it is a physical sensation, so you need to be more aware of that gut feeling and trust it, pay attention to it, and act on it. With time, patience, and practice, you can learn telepathically and intuitively communicate with animals. It s not hard, it s fun, and it is your birthright. You do not have to be gifted or special. In this e-book I will guide you through a series of exercises and techniques on how to communicate with your animals. Communicating with animals can be a very joyous and rewarding experience. Page 3
How Does it Work? We are energetic beings, and on an atomic level, we are sharing energy with everything around us. We pick up information through intuition every day. As I mentioned above, you just might not be aware of it because it happens subtly. When communicating with an animal, all you are doing is sending out and receiving energy from that animal. There are 7 pathways in which animals and humans communicate using telepathy and their intuition. 1. Communicating Mind to Mind: This ability is called Clairaudience (clear hearing), mental telepathy, or telepathic communication. If you are communicating mind to mind, you have the ability to hear thoughts in your mind. 2. Send and Receiving Visual Images: This ability is called Clairvoyance (clear sighted). It is the ability to see things without the naked eye just with your mind s eye. You may see images, colors, symbols, people, or scenes in a movie like projection. Usually these pictures flash into the mind. 3. Sending and Receiving Feelings: This ability is called Clairsentience (clear feeling) and empathic. It is the ability to sense or feel energy. If you are empathic, you have the ability to feel the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of a person, place or animal. 4. Knowing When Something is True: This ability is called Claircognizance (clear knowing). It is the ability to know something without knowing how or why you know it. 5. Perceiving Smells: This ability is called Clairolfaction (Clear smelling), clairsmelling, and psychic smelling. It is the ability to perceive smells that the physical nose would not. Page 4
6. Tasting Something: This ability is called Clairgustation (Clear tasting). It is the ability to taste something that is not in your mouth. 7. Touch Knowing This ability is called Clairtangeny (Clear touching) or psychometry. By holding an object or touching an area you perceive information about the article or its owner or history through the palms of your hands. Depending on your intuitive abilities you may experience all 7 pathways. What ever skill or skills you possess, trust, honor, accept, give thanks and intend to harness the skills you may not have. NOTES: Page 5
Believe You Can! Absolutely NO if s, ands, or but! The road ahead will be exciting, uncomfortable, challenging and ultimately, one of the most rich and valuable experiences ever. You can do anything you put your mind to! You are going to have to practice, be patient, and have an open heart, and free mind. If you have a lot of preconceptions, mental or physical distractions, or mental chatter, it will be difficult to open up and get a clear communication with an animal. So it is really important to quiet your mind. You may have to abandon any life-long belief systems, doubts about the process, or any self-doubts you may have about your intuitive abilities or about yourself. You may also have to let go of your intellect. Your transition may come quickly or your intuitive abilities may open slowly. It is also absolutely essential that you put your ego aside. If you are having a difficult time opening your intuitive abilities honor where you are at. There is no right or wrong way. If you become frustrated, set your practice aside until you feel ready to move forward. Do not allow it to become a struggle- this is not a test. It is about being open and receptive, coming from the heart, having patience, and honoring where you are at. Page 6
To Be or Not to Be Because we are energetic beings, being physically present with an animal when telepathically and intuitively communicating with animals is not essential. All this is energy and energy is not limited to time or space. Energy is also neither created nor destroyed; it is transformed from one form to another. That is why some Animal Communicator s who have medium-ship abilities can communicate with animals In- Spirit. You can practice in the presence or from a different location (distance). For example; you can be in one location of the house, across town, or even across the world. Distance is irrelevant. If you are practicing in the presence of the animal make sure you are not reading their body language or easily distracted. Animal Communication is not reading body language or making guesses based on behavior, decoding what an animal is thinking, feeling, or experiencing, mental projection, or an invented conversation Now it s time to build your telepathic and intuitive skills so you can enjoy successful communications with animals. Page 7
Let s Get Started! 1. Learn to quiet your mind Preparing to connect is most important and basic. It is very important to quiet your mind and be fully present in order to be in touch with what you are observing and experiencing within your body and mind. Create a quiet, calm space with no distractions for practice. Be comfortable - sit on the floor or in a chair or lay down. Breathe, relax your body, and enter the silence with the intent to communicate. Ask for guidance in all things for the animal s highest and greatest good. 2. Communicate from your heart You must first be motivated by love not an agenda, and second, you need to set your own thoughts and judgments aside so that you can see, feel, hear, or know what an animal has to say. Heart to heart connection means coming from your heart- being compassionate, kind, loving, and caring with not only the animal you are making a connection with, but yourself and other people. 3. Your Approach to communicating with an animal You need to approach communicating intuitively with confidence. Approach this with a very relaxed attitude, desire to do it, and knowing that this is possible. Just keep an open heart and mind and you will be able to receive information on all levels with an animal. Page 8
4. Initiate Contact with the animal Be polite and respectful when initiating contact. Introduce yourself, and tell the animal you would like to communicate with them. Closing your eyes may help you focus more and not become distracted. It will also help you see with your minds eye. Ask simple questions such as what s your favorite toy is or, what s your favorite thing to do with your person are examples of simple questions. Don t start out with trying to solve difficult problems.. 5. Trust what you receive from the animal It is a natural tendency to doubt the process when you are first starting out. No matter what, trust your first instinct. Catch the thought, image, emotion, or sensation that the animal is sending you. When you receive information, do not judge or analyze it. If you do, you have just stopped listening to your intuition. Stay in a fun place. Believe in yourself, believe in the animals, and believe in your intuition. Get validation from an Animal Communicator if it is your own animal, or from the animal s person. 6. Acknowledge the information received from the animal Just like engaging conversation with a person, acknowledge the information you receive. This will encourage you both to keep communicating. If you don t understand what information the animal is sending you ask for clarification rather guessing or adding your ideas about what the animal may be communicating. Remember, if you become frustrated, set your practice aside until you feel ready to move forward. When you are ready to finish communicating with the animal thank the animal for their time Page 9
There it is! 6 practices on how to communicate with your animal. Remember, this is not a test. It is about being open and receptive, coming from the heart, having patience, and honoring where you are at.
